I purchased this item as an 18th birthday present for my youngest nephew, a brilliant self-taught artist. I wanted to gift him something that he could use for years as he pursued his passion. When he received it, he called me and was overcome by emotion as he thanked me for his gift. He was eager to get into it and see what his imagination could create! I'm still patting myself on the back for this one! LOL!!!

Nice set. Cheap packaging
It is a very nice set with a lot of variety. I also like the case. Unfortunately the inside packaging is very cheap and the soft pastels did not make it through shipping. Everything was out of place when I opened the box. Every soft pastel was broken and most of them are not usable in the shape they are in. Other than that look forward to using the rest.
