I wish I’d bought this years ago. I have struggled with back and neck pain since a car accident in 2006. I’ve tried tons of gadgets, most ended up collecting dust in my closet because they just didn’t work. I have found acupuncture to be effective, but it’s expensive and difficult to find the time in my schedule. I bought this after eying a much more expensive version for months. I figured, at this price, what do I have to lose? I was apprehensive about using it the first time because those little spikes are sharp! I was pleasantly surprised to find that it really didn’t “hurt”, it mostly felt like a sort of prickly heat at first, and then after a few minutes I just felt warm and relaxed. The best part is that, after just one use, a painful knot in my shoulder that I had medicated for a week was almost completely gone. I have used the neck pillow independently a few times, positioning it to hit spots where I’m having pain, and within hours of use, the pain is gone or significantly subsided. Unlike many other things I’ve purchased, I actually look forward to using this because the endophin-fueled relaxation is awesome. About the product itself- the construction and materials are fairly cheap. I could see how the cotton might stretch over time or the styrofoam inside the mat might break down. For the latter issue, there’s a velcro opening at the bottom where the mat could be removed and replaced. I do like the inclusion of a carrying bag, as I will definitely be taking this with me when I travel. Overall, for the price, I think the quality is as expected, and, frankly, I really don’t care because the product is so effective. I highly recommend it.

Cheap but effective! Comes with a storage bag. I didn't know I would find it so relaxing to my muscles. I still have to wear a t shirt or cover it with a thin sheet, but it feels like a mini massage.

I love this! Great buy and it is the only item I have found that works on my sciatica. No crippling pain since I started using the acupressure mat more than a year ago. It is a little hard to get used to but once you get use to it, you will never be without it. It does work but you will have to upgrade once it gets soft.

This product is magic. I enjoy using it after a stressful day at work. It relaxes me instantly.

This helps for so many different situations; traveling, relaxing, cramping, stiffness, soreness, tension, headaches. I love to lay down or put it on a chair when I’m sitting. Helps alleviate pain and stress!

Not the best material looks cheap but works. Could be priced cheaper.

I have bad upper/lower back pain. 1st time I tried using with a shirt on and barely felt the spikes. Next day used without shirt, bare skin back, and spikes helped decrease pain. It's like it's releasing endorphins and overall just makes me feel better . I usually lay on my back flat on ground, and sometimes put my feet flat on ground with knees up. But if I haven't used for a while, I remember that I have it, and then my back pain will be decreased and I'll feel better the next day. Comes in a big nylon bag with drawstring. Size is from neck to lower hips. Comes with a neck pillow too, barely use it because it's rather large. Someone told me they cut theirs in half to use so it's more flat. I use it for about 20 minutes. Spikes do hurt to touch, so dont leave out, or lying around, especially if you have little kids. I've used the pillow for bottoms of feet. Felt weird but does release tension.

I received my mat today, and fresh out of the box, it was clearly used. There was cat hair (or some other type of hair) and dust all over it. It was absolutely disgusting and gross. I’m extremely disappointed in the condition of the product. I haven’t even had a chance to try it because of how dirty it was. I plan on returning it or requesting a replacement. I will update this review if I ever get the chance to actually use the product and can speak to how it works. Very disappointed with this purchase.
