Fixed engine rumble and engine dying when it starts.
I don't write reviews that often, but this product has made me reconsider. This review is for a 2005 Mustang 4.0 V6For 5+ years, I've been ignoring my car's rumbling when it idles. Whether it be in drive and I'm at a stoplight or it's in park and I'm in my driveway. When I wasn't moving, my RPM would drop to around 650 and it would rumble juuuust enough to worry me. Recently, my engine would turn over and immediately die. It wasn't the battery or starter, the engine just wasn't getting enough air to keep the engine running. I would have to step on the gas a little, turn the key, rev it to 2000 RPM, then it would stay on. After this new engine problem, I thought I would do something about it.After using CRC MAF and Throttle cleaner, my engine starts up faster and stronger than it has in the past 8 years I've had it. It no longer dies when starting and the idling rumble has disappeared. For a $10 fix, I'm disappointed I didn't use this earlier. And single-use it is not. Judging by how much I used, there's a minimum of 2-3 more uses out of each can.10/10 regret not buying years ago.

Great Product, More In The Can Than You Think!!!
After using about 15 sprays of each can to do their job, I used no more than 20% of the can. There is A LOT left! Despite claims of it being "Single-Use," pretty sure it'll last me AT LEAST 4-5 more uses. This stuff is awesome. I have never cleaned my MAF sensor or throttle body myself, but I'm pretty sure a shop has cleaned it in the past. I just changed out my air filter and figured I would give this a try. I have a 1999 Lexus GS300 and taking apart the air intake to get to the throttle body was easy. From here I followed the instructions on the can, a few YouTube videos for cleaning these components on my exact car, and a video from CRC. Super easy, took all of maybe 25-30 minutes and cut through all the dirt and grime build up. Fixed a rough idle problem I had, as well as made my car more responsive and smoother. I can't say it added horsepower, but the responsiveness has definitely improved! The MAF Sensor Cleaner is safe on plastics, so I actually cleaned the inside of my whole intake with it!

I've always had good experiences with CRC MAF and Throttle Body cleaner and ...
I've always had good experiences with CRC MAF and Throttle Body cleaner and this time was no different. The dealership wanted over $300 to clean the throttle body alone on our 2011 lexus is250, so I ordered some CRC and decided to do it myself. While I was in there I also cleaned the MAF sensor and put in a k&n filter. Now she is idling super smooth and there is a noticeable increase in throttle response, which was expected given the throttle body was pretty dirty. I like to think the MAF cleaner is more of a preventative and would not expect any sort of performance gain out of cleaning it, unless it's very dirty which could also cause a rough idle.Remember to always do your research before working on your engine. I elected to clean mine without completely removing the throttle body, which is what a lot of people recommend, instead I just removed the intake pipe and the cleaned around throttle body plate by gently pressing it open with one hand and spraying cleaner/wiping it down with a lint-free shop towel with the other hand.

Please read description
First I would like to say that these cans are quite small they're about a third of a big can so the value for the money is okay but you don't get much then again for cleaning a mass air flow sensor you don't need much also throttle body and air intake cleaner it works really well as you can see for the throttle body but you have to make sure you only use throttle body cleaner And second if you decide to wipe inside of the butterfly or take your throttle body apart when you put it back together you have through the throttle body out of whack and out of calibration now I have tried relearn procedures over and over and over nothing would work I had to go to my buddy who was a mechanic with his $10,000 scanner to relearn the idle procedure so I do not recommend cleaning the inside of it unless you're absolutely sure you can relearn the idle yourself you can wipe the front plate but do not take it apart do not disconnect the throttle body electrical component and do not open the butterfly because this little $10 project might turn into a couple hundred dollars if you have to have somebody relearn your idle that being said do your research Google YouTube whatever you have to before you start taking things apart other than that the product is great hope this helps

Worth the time and money!
This set made my 2007 Isuzu I-290 run like new again. It has 183,000 miles on it, by the way. I was having an issue where every time I came to a stop, the RPM's would drop to about 300-400 and it would nearly stall. I cleaned the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body at the same time. It did take a little time cleaning the throttle body, as there was a lot of black gunk on it, but the work was worth it. I used a liberal amount of cleaner, an old toothbrush, and a rag. When I was done, I had what appeared to be a shiny, new part. After I put everything back together, the truck idled at about 700-800 RPM's. A couple hours of work is worth another 100,000 miles...I hope.By the way, these cans may look small, but there is enough for a couple cleanings. A little goes a long way with this cleaner.
