Bought four for our church.Great thermostat covers for Nest Thermostats.I need these because people would occasionally bump into it and even tho the thermostats are set in the lock mode, it would cause it to set to a hotter default temp.Now I don’t have to worry about someone messing with them.

I bought this a year ago in 2022 after a family member came over my house and changed my NEST thermostat temperature. However, I just now installed it in Summer 2023 because it was changed a second time. I love the fact that it has keys, but the BEST part is that now no one can walk past my thermostat and see that it’s set to “Polar”. The NEST thermostat does not light up anymore when someone walks past it. Huge plus! I’m absolutely in love and the price was great! TheresaCeeTV for more Amazon reviews etc.

Well, this was a perfect size for my ecobee light thermostats, the fronts come a little scuffed, not a big deal but worth noting. If they were packaged better, this would not occur. I would suggest better packaging that protects the plastic in shipping.. I still recommend these and have no complaints otherwise. They do exactly what I need.

I was about to write a great review of this cover. It fits an Ecobee perfectly. And it's not too big, unlike some other covers project out too far. It's easy to install. It looks like it would protect your thermostat.BUT - it's easy to break the plastic cover into lots of little pieces. A child did that to mine with her bare hand. That makes it useless.Now I have to find something that is made of much stronger plastic.

Keeps our very smart 3 year old out. We use it for our Nest thermostat. I like that it’s clear. The guard that is made specifically for the Nest didn’t have such great reviews (the majority of people had the same issue: that it could be taken off easily and wasn’t actually keeping their toddler out). So we opted for this one because the reviews said that it works well to keep the kiddos out and I have to say that yes, it keeps everyone out who doesn’t have the key! So it’s very effective. I would just keep the key in a safe place hidden away but near the thermostat so it’s not annoying to have to walk to a drawer far off in the distance when you want to make a quick change to the temp. We have a mirror above ours and we just put it on top of there.
