Dear future buyer, this happened to me. So I was so happy with my copper bottle, I had just passed a kidney stone and I guess my body was recovering even after passing the stone for a week n a half and I decided to use my copper bottle. What a mistake that was. I’m a truck driver so when I got back to my truck I was like lemon n copper water for me. I had diarrhea the whole time I was rubbing out of the bottle. I stopped 2 days ago and today I’m half regular half not in the laboratory. I know this might sound crazy but I just thought I’d mention it cause it happened to me. Anyways I love the product and I will one day use it again and feel like a king back in the Roman times. That’s why I bought! Ok been careful and love each other k bye

This is one of my favorite water bottles. It came in very nick packaging. Above the standard amazon packaging. I get constant compliments and it looks nice just sitting by itself on my desk. I like the hammered design as it reduces my fear of dropping and denting it. I have another style Kosdeg copper water bottle and I love that one as well but the threads can be a little tricky and makes some noise which would not allow discrete use. I love it all the same. One reviewer recommended applying chapstick to the threads and that solved the issue. With this one the threads are much quiter and the gasket makes a nice water tight seal. I really appreciate the larger volume and allows me to carry my days worth of water with me. It is pure copper but has a clear coating on the outside only. This helps keep the maintenance low. The outside stays bright and with the air tight seal the inside when filled with water does not oxidize that quickly. That being said it is pure copper and will discolor inside. This is necessary to get the benefits of a copper water bottle. It is really easy to clean with lemon juice, salt, and a paper towel and shake it around for a min or so. The water does have a slight metallic taste to it but again this is letting you know you are getting the benefits of the copper. I do like it very much and would buy it again.

The media could not be loaded. Love the size of the bottle. Did not like that it arrived dented at the top. It’s also screeching loud when closing, you know that lovely metal on metal sound that I’m sure the little dent didn’t help.

I got it today and it’s definitely mass produce factor crap. I have a couple real copper pieces from Turkey and this is not one of them. It’s very smooth. Doesn’t look like a actual picture so you know do what you want.

Packaging:Receiving the item, I was actually a little surprised at how well the water bottle was packaged. A snug and sturdy box, tissue paper around the bottle itself to prevent scratches, and a nice little pamphlet on the details of the product.Function:It doesn't leak, first of all. The lid fits nice a snug, though copper is a soft metal so if you're going to take this out and about (as opposed to just leaving it on your desk or something), you should probably get the version with the smaller lid (not the modern design) because one drop and it'll bend out of shape. It is definitely 100% pure copper though and nothing flakes (even after dropping it).Customer Service:I reached out with a question and the owner, Kyle, responded to me very quickly and was extremely helpful. My son wanted this water bottle for school and although I wasn’t sold because it wasn’t insulated he really wanted itHe followed the instructions for care it didnt clean well

I like this water bottle for the different lid. We have one of the copper water bottles with a lid with a rubber part that shows on the outside of the lid. When I clean the bottle I have never been able to get that rubber piece back straight and I am not sure if it is closing correctly because the rubber is turned. I have tried several times to put it back on in different ways and it does not fit the same as when I first got it. I am concerned about it leaking, but since it sits on my kitchen counter most of the time, I do not worry about it leaking. So the new idea of putting the wider piece on the inside of this new lid is a good one. I believe it will be easier to get off and on to clean as well as putting it back on without the issue of the other one. I would buy this bottle over the one with the separate seal on the outside.
