My previous laptop (same model) died and I urgently needed a like-for-like replacement.Very happy with quality and price of this one!

Really happy with this purchase.You're never quite sure what you get with "refurbished" products, but the Amazon warranty gives confidence to start with.In this specific case, the laptop is in really good shape with minimal signs of use (some marks on the bottom panel). The keyboard and trackpad look nearly new, which for this specific model is extraordinary (the Gen 5 X1 marks very quickly due to its soft surface treatment). The lid is completely free of any marks, though I think the seller applied an extra stick-on layer to it. Not a bad thing and if I didn't know what this machine looks like from new, I would assume it has been factory applied.Runs like a charm, screen is free of any defects whatsoever.

So I brought this laptop and I received the wrong generation model. I requested that I send that one back and receive the right generation one, and the person who I dealt with was very freinsly, apologetic and offered to trade in for a laptop with a slightly better chip set as an apology.I asked them to send it to a new address as I was planning on originally recieving the laptop while I was visiting parents, however they ended up sending the replacement laptop to the wrong address. Was very apologetic again and offered to arrange to send it to the right address free of charge. There were plenty of issues getting this done due to issues arranging it to be sent from a DPD drop off point, but it wouldn't be fair to say that this was an error on the sellers part.Eventually I came down to visit my parents again and the laptop runs brilliantly.A real farce getting it, but despite that definitely worth doing considering that you're getting a laptop for around £300 which was worth £1200, and although mistakes were made, the sellers when I got in contact were really lovely and freindly about getting it corrected.

This is the first time I have ever purchased a reconditioned computer and will not be the last. A top spec Thinkpad for a fraction of the new cost

I wrote a 5 star review for this laptop but after a few months the screen stopped working properly. Because of that and very bad return experience I am changing it now to 3 stars. I still think it's an amazing laptop overall (5 star) but it's very annoying that once in a while the screen will just stay black even though the laptop is turned on. It happened once a few months after I bought it and I was just about to return it when is started working normally again a day later. It then worked fine for a few more months (I had to return the replacement I ordered in the meantime etc) and now it happened again. This time the screen did not start working again for almost a week and I really needed the laptop so I decided to return it. But I will replace it with the same model. However I will be very careful to choose a different SELLER - not Tec-It-Out. They are making it very HARD for me to return it, expecting me to pay return postage and refusing to refund me despite the 1 year warranty. They are saying they will refund me only if it's working normally but I would not be returning it if it worked normally, would I?I then spoke to Amazon and luckily they said they will sort the refund.

I was very wary about ordering a "refurbished" item, as I have had bad experiences in the past but I have to say this laptop is outstanding.Advertised "like new" and that's exactly what I got. It is unmarked in any way and looks hardly used at all.If they had more of these I would have bought them but unfortunately now out of stock.I highly recommend these guys.

All good with the functionality of the machine but misleading on the condition. The outer casing is damaged but the seller suggested it was in ‘new’ condition. Little dissatisfied and disappointed in the condition but the machine seems to run well.
