Missing instructions and screw
No instructions but easy enough to figure out how to put it together if you stare at it long enough. Whoever was responsible for packing the parts however, couldn't count [blame it on COVID]. Two too many long screws used to assemble the frame and bench seating pad but one too few to attach the back pad [once screw short]. Four glides provided for a three legged chair. I do like the chair - goes well with my mid-century modern furnishings.

New chair doesn't look so new
Love the chair style and the reproduction quality seems a step up from other reproductions, but there was chip in the leg when it arrived, scratches in the wood in several places, and one of the threaded inserts on the back pad, spins freely so it was impossible to attach the fastner. I initially wasn't going to return it because of the trouble of disassembling, but the quality is just too poor, so I took it apart and returned it today.

Very very heavy
This took a long time and lots inquiries (tracking was useless) and eventually a request to cancel before it finally arrived. Assembly awkward, holes didn’t line up, but we made it work. It’s comfortable and looks pretty good, but it is one heavy piece to move. Too heavy to lift, have to drag it to where you want it.

If it was cheaper I would understand the shortcomings
The chair looks nice and is comfortable but my issues are that it didn't come with all the right screws, washers and sizes of screws. The pack panel started to come off the socketed screw insert leaving the chair not leveled. This chair should be cheaper in comparison to the quality of it and particular it having pieces missing. Also the instructions are terrible.

Mid-mod shell chair, LOVE IT!
I was so impressed with the first one, I ordered a second! Super easy to assemble.I did not like the black pleather upholstery, so I went to the local leather store and reupholstered in a beautiful brown calf-skin leather (all you need is a craft stapler and scissors). Well made, sturdy.A great addition to any mid-mod living room! I LOVE it!
