The soaking effort is worth it.
Delicious when prepared correctly. They need to be soaked before or after cooking for at least 14 days changing water everyday. May only need 12 days, check for bitterness to be gone. Once bitterness is gone, marinate and enjoy. They’re worth the effort. This brand is of good quality.

Good for salads and crunchy snacks
Whether canned or soaked and cooked at home, these are firm beans. I soaked for 24 hours, simmered for 45 minutes, then an hour and a half. Cooking longer than 45 minutes doesn’t reduce the firm texture. I soaked the cooked beans for 10 days changing water daily before the bitter taste was removed. These are good as a garnish on salads or as an ingredient in vegetable salad. So far I like the best as a crunchy flavored snack. Cook in the oven or air fryer like crunchy chick pea snacks.Crunchy with lower carbs is a nice snack.

It's too bitter. No matter how long or how many times you wash it
It is too bitter even though you wash it several time and more than several days....And, it is NOT RETURNABLE by Amazon....If they let me know that it is not returnable, I would never had bought it.

Good quality but bitter
Quality is good but it's very bitter if you don't soak and rinse with water properly.I didn't know b4 cooking. I just soak and rinse 6 hour like usual beans.I don't think I can soak this bean 4 -5 daysBut the quality of the beans is good.

Lupini Beans - A Christmas Tradition
This is our third purchase of the lupini beans. In my opinion there is very little sorting to do as they are a good quality. In our Italian family eating lupini beans is a 4 generation, long time tradition. These beans are dry/raw and the curing process takes about 10 days but the end result is so very good.

Yummy
My Sicilian step grandmother taught me how to process these, and I hadn't done so for some time. These were the perfect size with very few bad beans. They turned out delicious.

Bitter
There is a long involved process to cook the bitterness out of lupini beans. If you already know how to do this then i believe this product is good.

They germinated in the garden
Bought these to plant for a nitrogen-fixing crop in the garden. Not sure if I'll eat them in the fall - the soaking cycle scares me a little bit. Germination was pretty good - this must be relatively fresh seed.
