Much easier to use than a heavy jump box.
This works great. So much easier than lugging a heavy jumper box around, and recharges in just a few hours. Weighs just a couple pounds & comes in a handy zip case with lanyard. I have a near-dead battery in a car I'll be getting rid of this year and rarely drive, so I don't want to waste money on a new battery. But if I don't drive it at least twice a month, the battery dies. So I've used this handy item to jump it a few times this year with minimal effort after I didn't drive for a few weeks and let the battery run down. Takes less than a minute. I also take it with me when I drive now, for added peace of mind. Cables are short. I wish they were about a foot longer, so I could clip the black-negative to the car frame instead of the negative battery terminal, for safety reasons, but otherwise this product is perfect and very easy to use.

Worth your money!!
Worth the price. Will jump start numerous times before recharging. I used it for several months after my van began having alternator issues. Until I changed the alternator, the car battery went bad which I believe it was the battery all along. However the jump starter never disappointed. I’ve used the bigger and heavier jump starters and this compact one always did the job. I’ve purchased a second one for my dad because I highly recommend it. I also helped jump start another vehicle at a shopping center and the other person he was impressed by the compact size and the quick start of his car. He claimed that he would buy one too.

Great product
Had sitting around for about a year and a half thinking one day I’m going to need this thing and finally the day has come to use it and it started my car on the first try and was extremely easy to use. Glad I made this purchase

Works great, but its large clamps can be difficult to orient on motorcycle. Happy with purchase
My truck's battery died at WallMart and the roadside guy had a lithium ion jump starter. Watching how little effort it took to start my Ram I knew I had to get one. I have three motorcyles and have had battery issues with all of them this past six months. This unit came almost fully charged, but I charged it anyway before first use. Other than the clamps being difficult to orient on motorcycle battery terminals, this thing is easy to use and powerful. I have not recharged it once after the initial top off, but it just doesn't need it. After jumpstarting my Harley, R1, and KTM SMCR 690, this thing is still displaying that it has full charge and effortlessly started my three motorcycles. You can tell the unit is high quality. Sure the clamps are a tad cumbersome, but they do the job.

Powerful, Lightweight, Inexpensive
The AVAPOW 2000A came with 3 of the 4 bars already charged, so that saved a few hours of charge time right off the bat. I used it to start my V6 3.5L vehicle three times with no problem. After three starts, it went from 4 bars to 2 bars - considering that it started the car instantly upon hookup each time, I don't consider the power usage as an issue as it's intended for emergency use anyway. In practicality, if I had to use it away from home, then I would immediately start charging it in the car on the drive back. It is lighter than a few others of comparable size that I've seen. It's advertised as having reverse polarity protection, over-current protection, and short-circuit protection. No additional frills other than a light and three charging ports, which I like so I can slowly drain the charge with a phone/tablet/etc instead of just leaving it charged for several months. A portable jumper is a DEFINITE must-have for families and I give this one a thumbs based on it's operating power, ease of use, weight, and price!

Great Value
I'm pretty stingy about giving out 5 star reviews, but this unit deserves the rating. This is probably one of the least expensive of the 2000A Jump Starters, but that doesn't mean it is cheaply made or less capable. It was definitely worth every penny. The nice solid case it came in will protect the unit, and there is also a nice piece of form fitting foam inside the case to hold the battery unit in place.I was putting off replacing a dead battery in one of my cars, just so I could try this unit. If it didn't live up to it's hype, it was headed right back. The car has a larger V6 engine, but it started right up with no hesitation. Wow, how can such a little battery jump start a full sized car? This thing is amazing! I let the unit stay on the posts for a few minutes while I rev'ed the car, so it would be charged up sufficiently to run on its own. After taking the charger off my (now running) car, I noticed that the jumper battery still had 4 bars (a full charge) even after the start. I think this is important - if, for instance, you crank up the car with the bad battery, and head to the auto store or car service place, you don't want to have the car die on the way, and be stuck or need someone to give you a jump. With multiple cycles available before recharging, you can be confident that you will make it to the store, even if you have to re-start multiple times using the Avapow charging unit.I had one of the old, large, wet cell battery charging units, but I took it to the recycling place today. I never really used the old unit much, and, with the amount of space it would take up, the fact it weighed more than a bowling ball and would hold a charge for MAYBE a month, I would never have even considered taking it with me in the trunk of my car. It's nice that the new unit has a 2 year warranty, too.All things considered, it is probable that I will be getting a second unit to put in my truck.
