Just what I needed for our detached garage! There is ledge between it and the house so an underground wire was out of the question. Using solar was the perfect way to go, and this light cost far less than running a cable. The garage is 24x24 and the best place for the solar panel was on a corner, so the long cable was just the right length to allow me to mount it in the center of the garage.The whole install took less than an hour and is very straightforward. Simply mount the panel, drill a hole for the wire, Seal the wire hole with silicone caulk, mount the light, and connect the two. The light module is plastic and very light weight, so I used a single screw to attach it to the rafter, allowing me to swivel it for best coverage. All the necessary hardware is provided, and even includes drywall anchors for the screws and tie wraps for securing the wire.In operation, the motion detector responded when I got within 5 feet of the light. I larger detection radius would have been a little better, but is not an issue; I will Velcro the remote to the garage wall and use it as an on/off switch if necessary. However, if you were to drive a vehicle into the garage, the detection range is fine. The light is very bright. We rarely use this garage at night, and I'm sure it will be adequate for our needs.The unit is well designed and manufactured. The solar panel is encased in a metal frame and has an adjustable metal mounting bracket. The cable from the solar panel to the light has a keyed connector to prevent accidental miswiring and a secure waterproof connection. While light in weight, the light housing is well built and hold the LED panels securely. There are 4 adjustable LED panels as well as a fixed downward pointing 5th panel which allow you to direct the light where it is needed. The master on/off switch is mounted on the center panel and is waterproof. You can install this light in damp outdoor conditions without worrying about it shorting out. Also, the light runs on low voltage, so you don't have to worry about electrical shock.I'm very pleased with this light, and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a light in a shed or garage that does not have electricity.

Good lighting but not overwhelming. Have them in my garage/car port and they definitely do the job. Very easy installation, just make sure you align the solar panel where it will recieve the most light.Comes with screws, remote control and instructions for use. Overall, great buy. So much so, I’ve ordered another 2 sets for around the perimeter/walkways. Can’t speak on the waterproof aspect as these are indoors or under the eaves of the house so that don’t see much rain or sun.

This light is great for outdoor and I actually use it in door as well. For me it is bright enough for the my bedroom and last long enough for the nights. The motion detection is pretty sensitive.One improvement is for it to have a timer to turn off at a given time so that it won't keep turning on whenever there is motion, this would be useful if I use it indoor.

Very nice solar light.... I love this light so much I've bought 4 of them so far. Great for outdoor gazebos, sheds, or anywhere you'd need some light. These are a great buy for sure!

We added this to our chicken coop as ours doesn’t have power to it. So far so good, good price, bright. Light and easy to Install. Short range for remote so we will mount it on the door to not lose it.

Would have given this item a 0 if I could. So very disappointed. Got this for a camping trip with the family. We were going to be off grid so we need as much solar power items to get us through. I set in the sun for 2 days before the trip per the box instructions. Plugged the lamp up and did a test before leaving. It turned on, everything seemed good and off we went. On the first night I was able to get it to work for about 4 hours before the light died. I felt like it should have lasted longer but my husband said sola doesn’t last as long. Fine. I put it in the sun the next day, moving it everywhere to keep in direct sunlight. Tried to use that night and it blinked in and the off. Would not turn on. The next day I tried charging it with the lamp attached in case I did it wrong the first night. Still blinked on and then off. So most nights we sat in the dark with a flashlight to ear or play games. I was very disappointed in this and wanted it to be great. I feel like battery items are the most reliable for camping situations. I def am returning this today.

This works great in my detached garage. Lights up the space nicely. Just don’t miss the on off switch. Needs to be to set us the on for the motion sensor to work. 😀

Nice light, works perfect for my shed! The motion sensor makes stepping into the building at night an easy process.
