Only bought this because it came with the surrounding trim. There’s not way to fit the trim to the cage unless you super glue it on. Avoid.

The product wouldn’t fit my dashboard, so I returned it. Heard nothing and contacted the seller after 1 month. Difficult to make the seller understand that I had returned the item, (with proof of postage). Had to badger them for a refund, which was, in the end more than £3 short. Again more difficult communications and I was not able to get a full refund. Eventually gave up- not worth the hassle over £3.So I would say, make absolutely sure the product is right for you as returning it may prove difficult.

This item is cheap thin pressed steel but it did work for my fitment. The mounting system is a little vague and I had to have a few attempts at it, but once in it's neat and tidy. I couldn't figure out how to use the bezel that came with it, but used the one supplied with the head unit. Used this to fit Atoto S8 in to a VW transporter 2008.

Not sure why anyone would purchase a more expensive one. This does the job perfectly.

Great item can does what it's ment to do

The android double DIN radio I had would not fit in, the cage was too tight in the corners where the metal overlaps and is spot welded together. I filed the weld down but is still a struggle to get the radio all the way in. I will have to do a bit more fiddling about to get the insertion and extraction satisfactory. Shame.
