If you want a machine that can laminate and provide some beautiful foil accents to your projects, get this! It's quick, easy to use, and doesn't require much effort.

Plastic burning smell / clicking noise
Got this as a gift for Christmas last year. Have used it a handful of times. Around the third time of use, noticed a plastic burning smell along with clicking noise as other reviews have mentioned. Thought this was normal and would go away. Bf got concerned about smell as I was using it in my room, decided to inspect the machine to see if plastic was trapped inside laminator. No plastic stuck, just apparently melting at the bottom...Insane that this machine is potentially a fire hazard when using on a table in an air conditioned room a few times for some card making projects. The machine only has a 6 month warranty. So looks like we are SOL with a (presumably) defective product.Buyers beware of any smell or clicking noise and don't ignore it. Check your machines.Literally my first amazon review and thought it was necessary to post since this seems like a huge fire hazard.

It Works!!!
The media could not be loaded. At first, I tried with the sampler sheets and the foil got all over the sheet instead of just the black ink. I was so bummed out. I was also scared, thinking my machine was going to melt like some had experienced. I had it set at 3 to do the foiling on these tags that I used my laser printer to print and Cricut machine to cut. It was the perfect setting and went on perfectly with no issue. I did run it through twice and also used it to foil 10 sheets (without the machine melting!). Best foil to use was the Minc brand. Second best was the deco-foil brand.
