Q: How many cameras does it come with? Will this fit my 2018 forest river rockwood thats prewired for furrion camera. It has bracket mounted on rear

It has a single camera and shark fin housing. My camper was prewired with a shark fin housing when I bought it. All I had to do was to remove four little screws and pull out the connector, then plug the camera in and screw it in place. It took all of five minutes to install with most of my time spent trying to find one of the screws I dropped. On my camper the camera is only powered up when the running lights are on. Hope that helps.

Q: how does it compare to the Fookoo FHD1?

The Furrion camera is an outdated low resolution camera that Furrion is only able to sell for such crazy high prices because many people don't know there are other options. Yes, the Fookoo, Haloview, etc. are much cheaper and are high quality modern cameras. There is no reason to buy an overpriced Furrion camera, other cameras are compatible with the same RV camera mounts!

Q: What makes this system 100$ more than the 381556 system?

381556 is obsolete once these are gone. The new camera has sound also

Q: Can i add a second camera to see the hitch?

Hi and thank you for your question! The FOS43TASF system is only able to receive signal from one camera. The FOS05TASF (5” monitor) or FOS07TASF (7” monitor) are both systems that will allow up to 4 separate cameras. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
