Nice unit
Works great! However, my installer was frustrated that he had to mess with the pull cord. Solid unit and good value for the price

GREAT but read the directions
I have a standard sliding glass door and options are extremely limited for windows coverings. I despise vertical blinds so I made a simple cornice board to hide this drapery rod. It can be fabric covered, wood or molding.Must use pleated curtains to look full and luxurious when closed. The unit I bought has a center draw. Meaning it meets in middle and opens with drapes stacked evenly on each side. It also has an extension 'arm' so your drapes will slightly overlap with no center gap. This application will make the slider look much larger as the drapes stack about 20" on each side when open covering awkward wall space. If you choose thinner curtains for a kitchen, it will provide privacy and still let light in. Or you can go full blackout mode for bedrooms or temperature control. Stick with neutral, contemporary fabrics and these will NOT look dated! Depending on total width, you may need to sew multiple panels together or order wider curtains. The drapery unit operates smoothly using a corded loop which is fastened to the wall. All hardware included. Hang curtains with drapery hooks. The hardest part is install due to size. There's pertinent info in the directions so please read first. Also, get the sizing and the unit working BEFORE you install. Lots of info on YouTube if you need help.

Perfect for the price
Arrived on time with no damage.I installed this traverse rod over a 10 foot bank of windows in my vintage home. I like the way the track drops into the side brackets and locks lateral movement. The kit comes with 3 support brackets, I only needed 2 for my 10-foot span and the track feels sturdy. The instructions were a bit misleading for centering the moving parts, but once you figure it out it's actually pretty easy. Having a second person to hold the pull cord still while you make adjustments may be helpful.I hung the following curtains which are fairly heavy and everything seems to work smoothly:"Frelement Pinch Pleat Curtains for Traverse Rod Blackout Lining Energy Saving Sun Blocking Drapes for Sliding Glass Door, Kitchen Windows, Burgundy Red, 72" W x 102" L, 1 Panel"

Good Traverse Rod at a Good Price
I needed a very long traverse rod, but most were very expensive. When I saw this one at a good price I ordered it. The rod was advertised as up to 120 inches. I actually ended up needing 121 inches. The rod came with 3 braces and we were able to get it to extend that extra inch and it functions fine with the heavy drapes I put up. I am very pleased and would recommend it.
