Sturdy and so handy!
I use these handy locks on sweatpants, scrub pants, shoe laces and sweatshirt hoodies. I initially bought them for my scrub pants so I could make a quick bathroom run without having to fumble with ties and also so the ties didn't come out in the wash (I really hate that!). I then discovered they worked great on sweatpants, hoodie ties and long shoe laces for my autistic son. Anything that makes his life easier is good in my book. They are tight enough that they don't slide at all but very easy to adjust. They even come in different colors!

Very strong spring that holds a hat in place.
I purchased this cord lock to hold a wide brim fishing style hat in place. I had purchased a cheaper compression spring lock and found it would slide up and down the cord without much resistance. This spring pressure lock is very rigid and grips the cord tightly.
