Unitec 10320 Aluminium Loading Ramp

I use these ramps to put a motor bike and lawn mower on the rear of my pickup. The ramps are slightly steep due to only being 1.5 metres but they fit in the rear of the pickup fine unlike other 2 metre length ramps which would not fit in and need to overhang out the truck bed.They work perfect but after a few times I noticed the ramps were slightly bending and warped slightly when any weight were on them. I have managed to bolt on steel metal strips on the inside edges of the ramps which has strengthened both ramps immensely so beware if you intent using for heavier items you may need to strengthen the ramps. Both ramps are made of light aluminium. For the price of 2 ramps I'm really not complaining.

Driving a mobility scooter into the back of an estate car

Zuerst hatt ich überlegt mir aus Holz selbst eine Rampe für unsere Stufen im Garten zu bauen. Bei Amazon habe ich dann aber schnell diese Alurampen gefunden, die für meinen Zweck ausreichend sind. Anforderung war ein Rampe zu haben, mit der ich auch mal mit einer beladenen Schubkarren hoch kann. Da eine Rampe alleine zu schmal ist, habe ich beide Rampen zusammengeschraubt und dabei zusätzlich die Wangen mit einem Aluflach verstärkt. Dadurch habe ich die Durchbiegung merklich reduziert und die Steifigkeit und somit die Belastbarkeit der Rampe erhöht. Das Aluflach habe ich jeweils 6-fach verschraubt. Tipp: Keine Edelstahlschrauben und Edelstahlmuttern benutzen, da sonst die Gefahr einer "Edelstahl Kaltverschweißung von Mutter und Schraube" besteht. In meinem Fall hatte ich die Schrauben und Scheiben schon, sonst hätte ich alles verzinkt genommen.Verwendet habe ich:3x Alu-Flachstange 30 x 5 mm, Länge 1200 mm36x Große Scheiben M8 nach DIN 9021, V2A Edelstahl18x Verzinkte, selbstsichernde Muttern M818x Linsenkopfschrauben mit Flansch M8x25 ISO 7380-2, V2A Edelstahl
