Completely awesome
This book is a must have resource for anyone who is teaching two year olds, whether home schooling or teaching in a child care or day care! I went from teaching elementary school to being a two year old teacher and this has been a life saver for activities at my finger tips. The book is well-organized and it has margins wide enough to write in your own ideas for books to read or songs to sing. My co-teacher also appreciates this book as well. This is well worth the money!

Really is Complete!
I worked in a childcare center for 3 years and just about every other teacher borrowed this book from me at one point or another. It has great tips and activities as well as pages you can print out, and includes a section on sign language. Really is Complete and has just about anything you could ask for in a resource book for toddlers and two year olds. Can be used beyond that age for songs and activities can be modified for each child's needs.

So glad to have found this!
Toddlers are meant to learn through play, so unlike for older children, lesson plans are harder to find. It has been frustrating to locate a curriculum for toddlers that would save me the time of coming up with lessons, activities and themes. This book had age appropriate activities, lesson ideas and material lists. Such a time saver and nice resource for a daycare or even a parent who wants to do a bit more with their child.

Very Good Resource
Schiller's books are always wonderful. My favorite is her infant book, and I think this one comes next.I think she organizes the activities better in this twos/toddeler book then she does in her resource books for preschoolers because she takes a more developmental approach here rather than a rigid thematic approach like in her preschool books.I'm impressed.

Great Resource for Homeschooling!
I homeschool my older child and was struggling to find something that would allow my 2yr old to "do" school too. This is absolutely perfect for lesson plans and ideas for kids under 4! Would be great for daycares or preschools but AWESOME for the homeschool Mom trying to find a way to keep her little ones busy and engaged!! Teaches simple concepts like, - eyes, nose, ears, clouds, sun, animals, etc! Offers sample craft projects, sing-alongs, fingerplays and rhymes.

Complete Resource is misleading
If you bought this to keep your sole toddler busy this book isn't the one and only. It has some great ideas but seems more like a class plan for several children rather than help for a Mom trying to keep the two year old busy and learning.

This book has everything.
I purchased this book as a sequel to the Infant/Toddler book. This book is layed out differently. But each lesson still has social/emotional and cognitive areas, as well as songs and stories. This book also has stories you can copy/color and laminate to be used on the felt boards. The children really loved seeing the characters move around our felt board as I told the story.

Excellent learning activities
I love this book! I ordered it without knowing if I would like it. I'm so glad I have it! My daughter loves the activities, the stories and the songs.Yes, you do have to color and cut out pictures. But, I actually enjoy that. I recommend buying a laminating machine if you want your story characters to last forever!
