Product gets the job done and looks good!
Broke my ring finger 2 weeks ago. Been using this product for a week now and it works well. Its a lot more practical and convenient that the wraps and tape I was using the first week. Its also nice to be able to slip the item on and off to wash your hands properly. Item seems to be holding up well with use and washing.Suggest you buy at least 2, so you can was and cycle them. The small velcro section has pointy corners than can scratch or catch on stuff. Be careful with dry-fit sportswear.Update after 3 weeks of use 11/5/13:Original product is holding up well and I bought a second one so I've always got one, when one is being washed and dried.Make sure you order the right size, so you have a nice, supportive, snug fit around the injured finger. The neoprene sleve works very well and at times I wear it without the strap around the buddy finger.

Okay-size instructions are off- too big.
Sizing is off. I ordered a size 3 based on measuring instructions. This was meant to fit my ring finger. It could fit my big toe. I don’t know if I was sent the wrong size or these run big. I have a basically small female hand and based on what I got I could probably wear a size one. It’s true you can secure the whole device with the Velcro straps but if the fitted part is too big it’s not doing its job and it’s really too long for my finger almost. That’s my review

Item received is not like the one shown in the picture and details don't give dimensions to properly size the item.
Item did not arrive in time but tracking number was supposedly given where it was stuck in processing for a long time. Not the sellers fault, but the fault of USPS so no blame should be given. My issue is that the sizes are not given for each size on the Amazon website for size 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. I had to look up the sizes on another website which told me to measure the circumference of my finger and told me the appropriate size I needed which I felt was important. I placed the order on Amazon instead of the other site because I was looking to save a few dollars. I placed the order and when it arrived it did have the proper circumference to slip over my finger but the length was much different than given on the other website AND it does not look like the one in the picture. The one I received appears like the one in the picture but cut in half. It only has one strap instead of the two pictures and is barely long enough to cover 1/3 of the length of my pinky finger on my hand (roughly 3/4" to 1"... 7/8" if you want to be exact.) rendering it useless to be used as a splint for my dislocated finger. I hope I was simply sent the wrong item even though the receipt that came in the box was apparently for the item listed. I just wish the actual complete sizes were given. I have to use the typical foam and metal splints found at any local retailer for $3 instead of a neoprene one I wanted that could be used more often and washed. I am disappointed. The material is well made and the stitching seems to be good enough to last the one month of use that the doctor recommends for a dislocated finger. Its just a bummer that this product is useless to me because of the length. The one in the picture would be the perfect length as it appears it would cover my entire pinky or at least half. The one I received will not even cover a single digit. It is much shorter and it is missing the second strap. The only reason this got 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the material is nice, soft and comfortable. It would work well if only I were given the size I needed.EDIT: The toe splint was accidentally shipped to me. It was even labeled so and didn't notice until after I contacted the seller who informed me they would quickly ship out the correct item in which they did. It arrived quickly and it was the perfect size and material that I needed. A metal splint may be good for the immediate dislocation of a finger to protect from sensitivity but this neoprene model allowed for protection and to be kept straight. It also allowed for me to "pop" the joint better into place when needed without removing it so I can nearly leave it on all day which is what I need to do for my dislocated finger. I had lost the item but loved it so much that I will be buying another one for the remainder of the time I have left instead of skimping out on a cheaper one for the final week of healing.

Poorly designed
I’ve only had this for about a week. The straps where the hook part of the Velcro attaches to the loop part, is too narrow. So so the hooks scratch my finger and there isn’t enough loop part for the hooks to grab well. So sometimes I have to wiggle the hook part against the loops for it to stick. I got this with the hope of having a better alternative to tape which makes my fingers itch. Although my fingers don’t itch as much with this, the Velcro is scratchy and unreliable, so this isn’t a good solution for a fractured pinky.

I’d buy again
The media could not be loaded. I ordered a size 3 & 4. The 4 would probably fit better for a man or someone with thicker fingers. The 3 was a more snug fit. The point was to make sure i wouldn’t keep spreading my fingers. I cut my hand in between my index & middle finger. It’s very comfortable & i can still flex my fingers without having to wear a hand wrap.

Make sure you buy the right size
My wife is a small woman with small hands and so we thought that size 1 would be appropriate but to be safe we decided on size 2. That has turned out to be too small so we are reordering a size 3.

too loose
kept falling off while playing vball. Sticking to taping the fingers for support. maybe fingers are too small for them. the strap kept coming at top.
