Strong features, low price
This is my first handheld digital microscope, purchased based on a Freakin' Reviews episode on YouTube. Excellent specs for the price. 8 dimmable LED lights, a 2MP lens with focus range of 50x to 1000x magnification. The device is small enough that I was able to hold and manipulate all controls.Although a Chinese product, the enclosed all-English manual is surprisingly detailed, full of useful information and instructions. It's here that you'll learn that this device has two modes, WIFI and PC. WIFI will only work with a smart phone or table, via the downloadable app. Windows requires a direct USB connection to work with the software you must download. Even though WIFI is listed as a connection option, it only works via USB cable. The single snapshots can be set to one of three HD resolutions, all JPEG format. You can also record MP4 videos.Keep in mind, the higher the magnification, the more difficult it is to hold the camera steady. Most users will opt to purchase an addition camera stand. The basic metal one sold here for $7.99 is perfect for the casual user and highly recommended.Fun, useful and educational. And budget friendly! If you love gadgets, you'll love this.

This Device Works Well.
It has worked great so far. I can get clear photos from it at high magnification IF I hold it very still. It is a bit of a pain to take the photos at high magnification because any tiny movement will ruin the shot. That is NOT the fault of the device. That would happen if I was trying to handhold a DSLR at high macro/micro. I like the ability to adjust the magnification easily.

I'm a Knife Collector
I bought this because I needed to be able to examine the edge of a knife blade after sharpening to see the results of my sharpening. They had better more expensive magnifiers for Knife Sharpening people. But my budget is limited. This works. I use this a lot. It works with my Android phone. I'd say my Tech skills are slightly above average and I have no problems using this with the Android App. There's a small glitch when first activating it every single time, connecting with BlueTooth, but I am able to connect in under 15sec each time. But that's just me. Other than that, my only COMPLAINT is that there's no way to CHANGE MAGNIFICATION. You can adjust the focus. But you can not make the magnification stronger or weaker. That being said, I have NO PROBLEM with the default magnification. It is perfect for my needs. I was able to see that I was sharpening my edges incorrectly by using this magnifier. This Magnifier improved my Free-Hand sharpening skills. So I think it's a must have for beginners when free-hand sharpening to see if you made a single or double bevel edged or have chips etc.

Easy to use and excelent magnifiication.
This is the second one I've tried. The first was a different brand that did not work as expected. This one is easy to adjust, has an excellent light, and connects wirelessly, which is a big plus. No cord to fight with. Recommended.

Irritating to use.
It sets up it's own "network" with your phone, taking you off your usual WiFi, disconnecting you from the internet, even from your cellular data network. It also charges via an old USB Mini plug, not the modern USB-C. That's kind of irritating. It looks like this is old stock that didn't sell ten years ago. The microscope can dice you some nice pictures though.
