S.O.S. Emergency Water 5 year shelf life - 62 Individual 4.22 Oz Packets (With Tips)

In addition to putting a bunch of these in a Go-Box, I keep a few in my car. Recently, caught in a dense traffic jam, I was really thirsty and figured I'd give one of these pouches a try. Turns out that the water tasted fresh and clean-- no after-taste, no trace of having been stored for a while. Very pleased with these.

We have Chronimum - 6 in our tap water and have been toldnot to drink the tap water so i use this,one packet fills the standard ice cube tray and in 105 degree weather that is good.I can take it in the car with me or put it in the refrigator and it is good.will recommend it!!!

Happy with my purchase a couple of the packets were leaking but overall great.

My purchase was shipped and sold by Amazon. Shipped in product box containing 62 packets. One of the packets did end up being punctured somehow during shipping. Manufacture date was two months ago, so it has a majority of it's 5-year shelf life left. Water taste isn't great, to me it has a bit of plastic/chemical like with an aftertaste. Water is very important in an emergency, so you should plan on keeping a much larger supply at home. These packets is good to take with you in case you have to leave.

Absolutely no complaints here. All 62 units were in good shape and I'll be getting as close as you can to the full shelf life since these were sealed last month.I mainly store these with our emergency MRE's, since the combo is easy to pack, repack or whatever the need may be.I also keep a few in the truck since breaking down on open highway in Texas is rarely a refreshing experience. It's also nice to be able to provide a pouch or two if you run across an ill equipped and stranded motorist.Realize you should have a larger supply of treated water available. These are designed to be a flexible system so you can carry what you need instead of extra weight. If you want water for hygiene and luxury this isn't going to work, but if you need to buy more time in an emergency they're perfect.

Great stand by pure water long shelf life I love these for all my emergency go kits even if frozen just put in inside pocket an a few minutes good water , just the right amount to activate the food heater in M R E S , came as stated, would buy again or recommend, thanks

I bought this for my family's emergency backpacks. It takes up very little space and I was able to pack 20 per bag before it started becoming uncomfortably heavy with all the other things I have in my backpack. I haven't tasted it yet but I'm pleased with how slim it is. The bags say you need minimum 2 per day I think and I only need a 3 day supply so I had more than enough for me and my husband. I ended up giving the rest to my parents and brother for their backpacks so if you only need a 3 day supply, this can easily be enough for a large family.
