Well first of all I usually don’t rush to write a review this soon after receiving an item. Most of the time I dont even write one to be honest but in this case i really felt the need to get on here and write a review for this keyboard case. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to have lots of devices through out the years specifically, in this case, I’ve had many iPads so I’ve used many cases, keyboards, accessories etc… for the ipad. I’ve had good ones but I’ve also had bad ones. Because of my history i feel like i have a pretty good idea and a pretty good feel for being able to judge an item like this.Anyway to get to the point, this keyboard case is awesome. I thought it was going to be low quality based on the price, i paid $98 by the way for the 12.9 inch version but this morning i saw that it had gone down to $84. If you stop reading here just know that you have to get this. Just go get it now. Anyway for the price it is very good quality. I would pay double for this keyboard honestly. The keys feel great when typing. I like them better than my MacBook. The track pad works great but you do accidentally trigger it when typing which is probably the only down side of the keyboard. Luckily it was a function where you can disable it. So, if you know you’re going to be typing for long periods of time then just turn it off and you’ll be ok. I’ve used other keyboards with track pads at around this price range and they suck. This one works very well. The backlit keys aren’t the brightest I’ve used on an ipad keyboard but they work. They’re bright enough, and have three brightness levels. The material used feels like some kind of carbon fiber, matte material and it can be wiped off if you get any smudges or stains on it. I like the ability to remove the case portion of it from the keyboard so you don’t have to carry that extra weight around if you aren’t going to be typing. Also it conveniently has a little stow away area for the Apple Pencil, I didn’t take pics of that because I currently don’t have my Apple Pencil. The hinge feels well built. It is rigid and sturdy. It feels like it’ll last a long time. I’ve had other cases were you have a bit of wobble or play in the hinge, which is never good for stability but this one is solid. It doesn’t move or wobble around at all. I’m highly impressed with this case. I also have a smaller 10.9 inch iPad Air and when I was looking for a similar case for that ipad I couldn’t find anything under $120 so for me to find this one at $98 (currently even lower at $84) i was surprised but also kinda concerned to try it. I’m glad I did. I’m very happy with my purchase and i think if you buy this you will too.

I'm super happy with this iPad case, it really beat my expectations.I wanted a keyboard case that could also be comfortably used for reading.When I saw that this case had a detachable keyboard, I ordered it right away, but my expectations were low and I thought the chance that I would not like it and return it would be likely.When I took the case out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised, as the case looks really nice and works perfectly. After having it for a little over a week, I have started to find little design details that show a lot of thought went into it. For example, I thought that the manufacturer had made a mistake because the pencil holder is on the wrong side and doesn't charge when in the holder. I contacted the seller about it and they told me it was done on purpose to avoid always charging the pencil, which is bad for the life of the battery. Instead, they placed a nudge on the correct side, so you can place the pencil there only when it needs to be charged. They recommended only charging it when it reaches 20% of battery left.Here's my list of pros and cons after using it extensively.Pros:- Great design, looks good, works as expected and provides good protection- Super nice keyboard with function keys and trackpad that works really well- The back of the case has a flip that can be used to place the iPad at pretty much any angle, both in portrait and in landscape. This is a huge improvement over my previous case, which had a magnetic detachable cover that doubled as a support but often popped out and only had two settings.- Pencil holder doesn't charge the pen, there is a dedicated nudge on the correct side to charge it when needed to preserve the batteryCons:- A bit heavy, but not a big deal for me- It would be great to have the case come with two covers (one light without keyboard just for protection), so you don't have to take the keyboard around when going to places where it can get dirty (the beach for example)Overall, a fantastic case for the money. I like it better than the Logitech combo touch. I haven't actually tried the Logitech case, but I did buy and return their previous model a couple of years ago after getting frustrated with the bad design.

I want a case that can provide food save if my iPad pro but able to stand alone without keyboard. This case can stand up at both portraits and landscape mode with or without keyboard. Dual position for apple pen, one for charging . The quality, look and texture are better than other models or brand in the market.If I have to say something that can be better, I would say the touchpad can be a bit bigger , add a extra piece of part with magnet to wrap the keyboard with the case. If add on an optional detachable stand alone screen cover, that will be even better. Then we can pick either keyboard or just screen cover base on our routineAs a whole, great product.

Works great just like a laptop. The trackpad does not have tap feature, you have to click only which is annoying. Rest it works like a charm battery life is also good.

Outstanding device, sturdy and works well with my iPad

Does everything it's supposed to do and does it well...it is well built and offers all necessary features: trackpad, function keys, light keyboard and protects your Ipad. Like the fact I can detach keyboard from Ipad.
