Easy and not ugly
Absolutely love this. We had the roller bins before but they don't look so great and my aussie figured out how to open them and feed herself. This looks nice in my kitchen and it is easy to use. Even if she figured out the foot pedal she couldn't get past the clear top. Easy to put together too. If the drawer doesn't full tip into place just swap them. It was the case for us. Highly recommend.

Upgrade from IRIS storage bins
I love this setup. I have a cat and a dog and I keep their food in the pantry. Up until I bought this, I was storing their very-expensive food in another animal food storage container; the stackable IRIS plastic dog/cat containers. I’ve always gotten very frustrated with them for 2 reasons: 1. I had to move the cat food container (the smaller stackable) every time I fed the dog. This led to constant tipping. The tipping was never an issue when the bin was closed, but quite frequently, after it was tipped, I would set it back on the dog food container and, when I opened it (yes it was level) the cats kibbles would scatter all over the floor. Apparently, the kibbles were small enough to collect in the seams of the container. And 2. The containers felt and looked extremely cheap and flimsy. I finally committed to finding a better setup.I am so glad that I finally paid the wxtra and purchased the Richell. Although it is also made of plastic and lives in the pantry, it doesn’t look cheap. Before I purchased it, I saw that multiple people had commented on the fact that the interior lid will not stay open. IF you open the drawer all of the way, you can pop the internal lid open with no trouble - so to me, it’s a non-issue. It is a little smaller than I would like, but I just keep the rest of the animals food sealed in a storage area and add it when I need to. I LOVE the setup because , since I don’t have to move the smaller container any longer, I am able to put both the dog and cat bowl on top or the storage unit and prepare the food. Most important: NO MORE KIBBLES on the floor in the pantry.I haven’t used the hooks on the side, nor have I mounted the unit. I cannot speak to either of these things.

Sturdy Organizer
I liked how easy and straight-forward the tower was to assemble.Finished unpacking to final assembly in less than 10 minutes; no tools required. Pieces snap together. Read the instructions first. Once snapped together the manufacturer says the parts can't be disassembled! The two storage bins have plenty of capacity for storing treats, food and pet gear. I'm using mine for treats only. The bottom bin has a maximum weight storage of 8.8 pounds per the manufacturer.I like the tower's slim profile. In my small apartment, the tower fit nicely by my front door.Dislikes? The top lid to the bin, while it has a good fit when closed, is engineered poorly. You'll need one hand to open the top bin (bottom bin smartly has a foot pedal), another hand to open the lid, and a THIRD hand (?) to remove the bin's contents. LOL! The lids should snap in permanently and have some sort of brake that keeps them open as you need. The tower comes with two hooks. It should come with four hooks. Each side of the tower, left and right, has two places, top and bottom, where you can snap in the hooks. Why can't I use all four hook spaces if I want? The 'hooks' also are not wide enough to hang much of anything. Soon after I took the picture of Hazel's choker collar hanging from the hook it fell down. I wouldn't even call them decent hooks. Maybe you could hang a very thin leash. The manufacturer says the hooks have a maximum weight capacity of 4.4 pounds per hook. It would be easy enough for an enterprising person to install plastic hook hangers you could buy from Home Depot with a cordless drill in minutes.

This could use more engineering.
I was excited to get this and ended up disappointed. The overall design is sturdy enough. I filled it up with pet food, no problem. Buuuuuut.... the shelves merely pivot on the front corner of the drawer. With no support along the sides they snap closed if you’re not holding it. The lid is very flimsy and doesn’t snap in anywhere, which makes it extra difficult to open with the lack of a proper handle. So you’re holding the drawer open with one hand, opening the the lid (which pops out completely) with the other hand, and you grow a magical third hand to scoop your pets food. Just kidding. It’s very frustrating. The bottom is a little easier because the foot opener affords you to only use two hands. Heaven help you if you have an over excited pet at feeding time.Speaking of the lid... when I read that it wasn’t air tight I was not expecting it to have literal holes or be unable to stay closed in any fashion. It just sits in the drawer and pops right out when you try to open it. I might just take them out because I’m going to have to store any food in additional bags to keep it safe from bugs anyways.Overall I’m rating this three stars. It does what it says, just not very well. It saves space, but at the cost of frustration. I would send it back if there was a product similar that would fit in the space I needed it to.
