Fantastic Headset!
Super happy with this purchase!Sound quality: Top tier, no complaints at all when gaming, wether in chat with friends or playing solo, brilliant at low or high volume also! The 360 spatial audio is wicked on loads of different games too.Comfort: Great! I can where them for an extended period of time and have no trouble. Also, the size extender is easy to use also with a good range.Battery: No issues with battery levels, they last for a good few days before needing a charge and it charges quickly.Features: The microphone pull out is great, it can easily be put back away when not needed which I love. The mic mute is great too with the LED indicator. The party/game volume wheel is a good addition, very handy to have.Connectivity/the Dongle: It connected super easily to my computer, it updated and prompted the software download for me. Then when switching to Xbox it was just as easy and worked perfectly, right away.I’ll also add, making the switch to a wireless headset is brilliant and you should definitely go for it if you’re on the fence, yes they’re a bit more pricey but it’s 100% worth it in my opinion!

The perfect headset if you wear glasses
I have tried probably about 10 wireless gaming headsets during the years including:Turtle Beach Stealth 600Turtle Beach Sealth 700HyperX CloudCorsair VirtuosoXBOX Official HeadsetAstro A50All of these I have had to sell or have returned to Amazon for various reasons:1. Too tight for Glasses Wearers (Hyper X).2. Poor Bass or Surround Sound (Corsair).3. Poor build quality (A50s failed to turn on twice!).4. Sweaty ears (Xbox Official Wireless with leather pads). These beat all of those hands down. Not only are they very comfortable and light which is perfect for a glasses wearer but the surround sound (footsteps) and bass (grenades) is excellent! The Xbox version is the best choice as well as it can be used with any console or PC.Some people write negative comments about these as there is no official Xbox app to tweak the settings such as EQ but I don't think that's enough to give it a bad review. What you need to do is use a Windows PC to set it up and then these settings are saved no matter what device you use. The setup process is as follows:1. Set the min dongle in USB (rather than Xbox) mode and connect this to your PC. Connect a second USB Cable to the USB C port of the headset. Both connections need to be active to do any firmware updates.2. Install the SteelSeries GG app on your PC and Laptop. It should detect that you have the headset connected but you might need to turn it on by turning it on via the button just below the Bluetooth pairing button.3. Update the firmware on the headset (this will most likely be required on all of these) using the GG app. Unfortuntely the app is just full of advertising so it takes a little while to find the right page. It should tell you it needs a firmware updates which takes about 5 minutes to complete.4. I play COD Warzone/DMZ and so I then set the Preset EQ to that and then add a few Db of Bass Boost. Ensure that "spatial sound" is disabled because you want to use Dolby Atmos on Windows or Xbox.5. To use on PC; that's it but to connect to Xbox you then connect the dongle to the Xbox (no need for teh secondary USB C cable and ensure the switch is set to "Xbox". You then pair the headset to the Xbox in the same way you would for a Controller - by holding the pairing button on the Xbox.Just ensure that you then select Dolby Atmos for Headphones in the settings on the Xbox. you may have to buy this app from the Xbox marketplace. I already had it and so I can't confirm this. It's a great headset - highly recommended! There is a pro version but it's about £200 more and as far as I can tell it's just a little more premium and it comes with a small box which you can use to connect a professional mic (for example) but this just adds more cables. It also has leather pads which will probably just make your ears sweaty!

Review - 4.5 stars
The set up for this is pretty simple, you have two buttons on the headset; One flashes green to represent connecting to the dongle, and the other flashes blue to represent connecting to the Bluetooth. If you're using this for your PlayStation or Xbox then you will need to use the dongle, plug the dongle (which comes with a good sized extension wire) into you gaming station of choice, and place the receiver somewhere it can see you. If its in the PlayStation flip the switch on the back of the dongle to 'USB', if it's the Xbox flip the switch to 'Xbox', hold the connection button on the dongle down until it flashes, then do the same to the dongle button on headset until that flashes as well, then done, your headset is connected. If you're wanting to connect to your laptop, desktop, mobile or anything else that has Bluetooth then you press the Bluetooth button on the headset until the blue light comes on then you can connect to your device of choice the same way you would anything else. What's really nice if you can do both of these at the same time.Want to play a game while listening to music, podcast or video on your laptop or phone? You can with by using the dongle connection and Bluetooth connection at the same time. You can also adjust the volume of both connections by a wheel on the right side of the headset, twist it one way and your game will get louder, twist it the other way and your Bluetooth with get louder, you also have an overall volume wheel on the left side. The headset also has a retractable microphone, but I found it doesn't work if you're only connected via the Bluetooth, so whenever I've been gaming on my laptop I've needed to use the included aux cable (Don't know if this is just me failing to do something to get the wireless to work). My friends says there are no issues hearing me when I use the mic, and all the sound that comes through, regardless of it's origin or if there are multiple sources, is very clear. When running low of power the green light will show as orange/yellow. The charging port is USB-C, and will work with any USB-C cable you have.It promotes 30 hours usage between charges, and that seem about accurate.Needed to take off half a star because the dongle has messed up a few times, where it hasn't turned off after a gaming session on the Xbox, even through the headset has powered off, this has lead to the headset being unable to connect due to the dongle believing it's already connected. This has meant I have had to unplug the dongle to turn it off, plug it back in, and reconnect the headset. This has only happened a couple of times, and I believe it is to do with receiving power while the Xbox or PS5 is in standby/rest mode while the headset is switched off.I really like this headset, the sound is clear, the multiple connections is convenient and it's comfortable to wear for long periods. It may be a bit expensive for some people, but you get what you pay for and I imagine this headset will last me many years before needing replacing.
