Very satisfying getting rid of all the mud off the kids' football boots! Used warm (not hot!) water. Yes, you could argue you could use any brush and water. But I like that little bit of convenience this design brings that squeezes the water through the brush.

Why did I not buy this sooner?! This has been really helpful in keeping my son’s football boots clean. Really easy to use, good size and very sturdy. I haven’t had any issues with leakage etc.

This is a great item. I am only giving 4 stars because the design means it’s not so easy to hold. But with a bit of extra effort it does a good job.Would be better if they made the area to grip was more narrow 👍

So my little has needed something to clean his football boots for a good while. Iv tried every method you can think of to try and make it easier and faster ...We've tried with the hose , a bottle of water , In the sick even getting desperate and using the shower even though it would make them clean they would end up soaking wet meaning it was taking days for them to try out.So after it being his birthday recently and having no idea what to get a young pre teen for said day I thought maybe getting him a useful gift would be a good idea & What a good idea it was.I was really put off by the price tag of a boot buddy ( because let's face facts it is just a scrapper and a bottle of water with a brush ) but I decided to take the plung and by one.After presenting said young child with the buddy im now pleased to say that even he is willing to clean his own boots , The scrapper tool is useful to get all the chunks of dirty and sands off the bottom of the boot and the tough brush helps to remove everything else plus the added benefit of the water bottle really helps bring them up to a nice clean presentable level.100% recommend.100% worth the fuss.& Defo worth forking out that little extra cash.

I was pleasantly surprised by this, I don't watch "Dragons Den" so knew nothing about it. I works very well, fill it with water and use the "tail" to gouge mud out of the boots and then a quick scrub with the brush (having twisted it to allow water to flow through). It doesn't use much water at all and fits nicely in your hand. Apparently you can get new brushes but I think will not be needed for a long while yet.

This is a great concept and the brush and flat heads are great for cleaning and the water flows well. I just find it really hard to hold as it's just too big! I don't have particularly small hands but find it really hard to get a good grip on this and uncomfortable to hold. I think I'll just have to wait until my son is a big teenager with big hands and he can use this to clean his own boots.

Handy one handed shoe/boot cleaner. A bit fiddly until you get the hang of turning the brush to the right amount of water flow. It might just be me though. Comes with instructions.

Seems good, if you have boots with a deep tread struggled to get mud out with the scrapper, also one fill of water only managed to clean one boot
