of course my 5 stars are because I find them useful for my purpose (better aiming in FPS games)
they fit properly on the joy-pad, of course my 5 stars are because I find them useful for my purpose (better aiming in FPS games). Nice plastic material, easy to wash and good grip.

Very good quality and control.
These thumb grips address 2 rather annoying flaws with the Dualshock 4 controller: the first is the issue of the original rubber grips on the analogue sticks becoming worn and uncomfortable and the second is the stubby nature of the sticks. As for gameplay performance, the KontrolFreeks lend themselves well to First Person Shooters (Call of Duty, Battlefield). I wouldn't say they've turned me into an overnight pro but I get a lot less of the 'how-on-earth-did-I-miss-that' moments. This is because the right stick is slightly taller and allows for more movement and control. Durability is definitely not an issue here as I have spent hours using them and there is not even a hint of wear.Compared to cheaper alternatives such as the KELUX thumb grips, these are far superior as the KELUX drag against the controller when turning the stick which hinders movement and is very uncomfortable. On the other hand, the KontrolFreeks clip on to the analogue stick with small but sturdy plastic hooks. The only reason there is a star missing in my rating is because, despite the high quality of the KontrolFreeks, they are ultimately two small pieces of rubber on plastic and it is hard to justify spending £13 on them (in my case), especially considering the already hefty price of the Dualshock 4 controller itself. In summary, I would definitely recommend this product to keen fans of First Person Shooters and fast paced action games, however, considering the price, not so much for those who are likely to only play these games a few hours a week.

Enhance Your Gaming Experience with KontrolFreek Thumb Grips
As a devoted FPS gamer, these thumb grips are a game-changer. They took a bit to get used to, but the comfort and improved gameplay are unbeatable. Forget they're there until you see your scores.they're under £15 and the best purchase ever. It's not just about gameplay improvement; it also extends the life of the controller. Say goodbye to easily worn standard grips. Perfect for games like The Division and Call of Duty, the aim improvement is noticeable.Highly recommended for any FPS enthusiast.

Great product, the extra height on the right analog ...
Great product, the extra height on the right analog stick gives more wiggle room to allow for more precise aiming on fps games. If you truly want an advantage in any FPS, i would recommend. One thing to note: if the rubber on your analog sticks is tearing, as it can happen with older controllers, this product may not sit properly.Other than that 100% worth the price.

I'd fully recommend this to anyone looking to enhance their gameplay
This review is based on almost a years usage of the KontrolFreaks.Firstly, I'd fully recommend this to anyone looking to enhance their gameplay. The grips make you feel really immersed in the gameplay, more so than the standard controller grips. This also aids in extending the life of the controllers too as it has always been a problem for me that the grips rip easily and I find myself peeling what's left off. Since putting the KontrolFreaks on I've not had this issue at all.Whether you're looking for a more immersive responsive feel or to extend the life of your controllers then I fully recommend this product.I should finally state that I used these mainly to play two games; The Division and Call of Duty MWR. I felt an immediate improvement in aim when using the KontrolFreaks oppose to the standard grips.

Broke when putting on
The clips snapped when putting it on controller, ended up in the bin, never got a chance to actually test them out

If you're heavy-handed, don't bother
These thumb grips look and feel excellent and seem high quality. They're easy to attach to the PS5 controller as it's as simple as hooking two of the hands under the thumb stick and popping the final one over the top. The colour is a nice subtle orange and the texture is a nice squishy and *very* grippy rubbery texture. I'm a casual gamer and (presumably!) heavy-handed, though, and I found these continuously pop off the thumb stick when pushed to the outer edge of the thumbstick limit in a game, which means you either end up with a loose stick under your thumb or in your hand, or it drops on the floor. I tried sticky pads behind it too, but it always seems to pop off (I also made sure that one of the grip hands was at 12:00 as suggested elsewhere). It's perfectly possibly this is heavy-handed user error, but these just aren't for me.

Decent but won't make you better than you are
Came with the clear seal on packaging already tampered with... only mention this as many have complained about poor packaging.Still to notice any "benefit" in my gameplay with the extenders on, immediately it feels awkward whilst playing as the muscle memory of your thumbs have to adjust for a new height but the range of movement does feel a lot more precise and sensitive when using the taller of the two extenders (usually you'll stick this on the right thumbstick).I've seen other reviews that state the clips deform the original thumb sticks and I can only assume people are clipping them straight on and banging down to click into place... They are tight and should be to stay in place; you clip on one side and then "roll" the other side into a clip position on original thumbstick.Anyway; they're decent and offer a nice experience for FPS play but aren't about to make you better than you are
