LOW COST / LOOKS COOL / IT WORKS WELL
My PC power switch has got a wicked sense of humour, but it has been no laughing matter for me, as I have gone all Basil Fawlty and promised to give it a good thrashing if it did not come on, then I got religious and promised to be a really good person, still the horrible thing would only work sometimes. Anyhow while shopping for something else I came across this item which seemed to answer my prayers. It was easy to install (follow your motherboard manual) after removing the old connectors, put the cable into the back plate and put the new cable connectors onto the pins. What I like about this product is that I can now push my desktop all the way to the back of my deep desk due to the long cable. Also it looks good with its lights etc, but most of all I now have a working power switch for a fraction of the cost of a new case. The package was delivered by DHT Express (China) which you can track via their website, but once it arrived in the UK the tracking stops, so no way of following the package from its partner Royal Mail. I emailed the sellers for information but they seemed unwilling or unable to provide a straight answer, but they did try to be polite while not being able to answer my question/s.This item works well and if you have a faulty power switch like I did, then I recommend this product.

AN EXCELLENT EXECUTION OF A GREAT IDEA
Hi all I am very impressed with this cheap little PC switch what a great idea. Why do I need this?My PC (Fractal Node 804)has a side window with the power button on the opposite side. I have it placed in a square cabinet space side ways to show of the window so there is no chance to reach round or over to get at the power switch. This solves the problem very nicely and also looks quite nice with the Power and HDD lights.PRO'S1 Love the big chunky power button it feels a little light weight and cheap but works very well.2 The reset button is small and very firm needing strong force to actuate so no worries about accidentally losing work specially if you have kids.3 Blue and Red Hdd/power light is nicely subdued by the patterned clear plastic and is not annoyingly bright or distracting and actually looks very nice sitting on the desk next to my keyboard. Bright blue lights are a pet hate of mine.4 A sticky pad is included.

Solid quality
Arrived 12 days after I ordered it on free post. Neat.As for the button itself, the connectors are all solid quality, significantly better than the ones on my goblin mesh green case or ancient damaged in2win case. On light much brighter than hard drive activity light... but you can just plug them onto the other pins and it works fine. Main button is nice and solid but mini button seems to engage when a certain level of force has been applied without any finger feedback.Bought this for the usual "It's inconvenient to have my pc anywhere other than the least accessible place available" problem, it solved the problem. It was cheap and if it breaks I can just swap reset and on/off's headers and keep using it till a new one arrives.Actually not brandless but has "Golden field" written on it. Conjures imagery of fields and harvest. Or some kind of electronic sci-fi technology which on reflection is what they probably intended.Edit: As it didn't break within the warranty I took it apart to see how it was put together... suprisingly well! Don't get me wrong, it smells terrible, internally, but everything's neatly soldered and the LED's are the larger bulb type. Two nice little tactile switches inside perform all the action, and even the cheapest ones are rated for about 10,000 presses. For the money, this is completely adequate. You can even wire the reset button to your optical drive's eject if you're some kind of physical media deviant.

If I ever meet the inventor of the blue LED, I am going to kick him in the ...
Nice solid piece of kit. I am sure I could have gotten it a little cheaper from somewhere else but I am I happy enough with my purpose.Box contents:Switch,Backplate for the computer. [Tip - Lead through the plate before you put it in]You should note when you are planning this that if you are planning on a clever placement, (such as under a desk,) that the thinner side is the computer side. In English put it when you want the switch first, then put it into the computer board.Power light is an obnoxiously bright annoying blue so you might want to leave that off if you intend to sleep in a room with the computer.Reset button is included on the thing, (that would be the small silver button on the front of the image.)But my whining aside, it is exactly as promised. It allows you to move your computer switch to a more convenient location.Which leaves me to the one ACTUAL CON that you might want to pay attention to. There is no repeater function on the motherboard contacts. If you use this switch, the original switch on your computer now does nothing. You can buy 'jumper extensions' to deal with this, but know what you are doing first; rouge wires anywhere near your motherboard hardware are a big no-no. In short, if this is an issue look it up first.
