Bought this to use NVME drives for my QNAP NAS - works perfectly, great fit and a good price

Using this adapter and an appropriate U.2 cable (purchased separately) to house a WD Black SN750 NVMe drive to use as a VR game library.When both cables plugged in, detected the drive immediately. After formatting, drive was benchmarked through Crystal Mark - expected read / write speeds for an NVMe drive. The adapter does not appear to impede drive performance at all, much to my relief as it takes the sting out of having an odd motherboard with a U.2, but not M.2 PCIe inputs and allows for much desired NVMe speeds without forking out ludicrous amounts for a dedicated U.2 storage device.

I would have preferred to see the the side rails at the M.2 standoff end fixed to the PCB as I use this in an ICY DOCK MB111VP-B M.2 to U.2 mobile rack system, but perfectly adequate for a permanent case installation.Gives good R/W speed results in my setup.

I try the piece in 3 different computers and the piece didnt workÍt's a pity because I realy need a connection for a Nvme SSD (M key) and it's hard to find.If somebody knows this connection please inform meNvme SSD (M key and a SATA III

It's a good product just too expensive for what it is you can get the same thing (different brand) On eBay for under £7 don't get ripped off fellow enthusiast.

Used 6 of these with Samsung 960 Pro and 960 Evo NVMe M.2 drives in an NVMe drive bay extension kit for a HP ProLiant ML350 Gen 9 and they all worked a treat - excellent performance, no compatibility errors or warnings and showed up straight away in DiskMgr. Couldn't be happier.
