Assembly with a child allows for quality time together
Got this for my grandson at Christmas time. He loved it and it gave us a couple hours of one on one time putting it together. He's autistic so it's hard to hold his attention for longer periods of time but he was so excited about receiving this gift. This was the first time he and I have bonded for such a stretch of time. I have to admit there were a lot of small parts that could've been pre-assembled, so if you're an impatient person this might not be right for you. But if you're looking to spend quality time with a child in their environment then it's an excellent choice.

Big hit with my 5 yr old!
Got this for my animal-obsessed 5 year old. He loves all the little animals that came with the tower and uses the compass for "adventures." Playmobil is always a favorite in our family.

...for about a week. Until the next new thing. Yours will too. 347 pieces that never all seem to make it back in the box.

Not what you want in a build-it toy
Not much replay value. A one and done kind of toy, also quite flimsy. My 5 year old had fun building with dad but after a week or so, he broke it apart. Tons of little pieces everywhere! At least Lego can be rebuilt/reconstructed once taken apart.
