Good quality chisel set, comes in lovely wooden box and with recommendation from family member I decided to buy it.

I like them, it took me about 6 hours to sharpen them

As per some previous reviews the box is an issue! The chisels themselves appear to be excellent quality. However the box is a different matter. They were literally delivered ten minutes ago. The on opening the cardboard box that the manufacturer puts the wooden box inside i was met with a nice looking wooden box. Opening it was a real disappointment both of the cross sections that separate and hold the individual chisels were detached and broken into pieces. As this is a present and needed tomorrow I can't return them. I'll just need to apologise. Really not good enough. With a better box I'd definitely give them 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. This chisel set exhibits excellent quality. The chisels themselves feel well-balanced in the hand and possess a satisfying sharpness. However, while the storage box appears well-made, its structural integrity is lacking. The box exhibited inadequate support, resulting in movement of the chisels within, and the hinges proved to be quite loose. A robust and secure storage solution is crucial for a chisel set of this caliber, and an improvement in this area is warranted.

Great quality and presented beautifully in box. Makes a lovely gift.

Someone once said to me 'The secret to using any chisel is to use a sharp chisel' wow was he right the Narex chisels are in a class of their own, they cut straight and true all day every day, the best ive used in the last fifty years.
