Gilbert Goal Netball Post - Black, 3.05m

This is a great product and seems strongly built and well made. There are interchangable parts of the pole that can be used for junior games, with the ring at a lower level, or all together to be the standard netball 3.05m height.The base can be filled with either water or sand, although filling with water seemed to give it adequate weight to remain sturdy.A couple of minor gripes - firstly the instructions for assembly leave a little to be desired, mainly because the picture doesn't adequately show which screw and nuts to use at each stage. Consequently I had to dismantle and start again halfway through after realising I had used the wrong screws at the start.Secondly, when the base is filled with water, and you then want to drain it, the drain plug is towards the middle of the base, so that it is difficult to get all the water out. Not a major problem, but it means that you could get a rather stale water smell if left in there a while.Other than that, I would highly recommend this product.

Totally fantastic. Bought this for my daughters 7th birthday and it was an instant hit. It was quick and easy to assemble and the vertical poles can be used in various combinations to adjust the height, so it can grow as she grows. It looks sturdy enough and great quality. Very happy.

We bought this product in July and 20 days later still don’t have the right size screws to secure the netball post properly.I’ve had 2 emails from the seller saying they are following up and had nothing backWe are using the post with the screws that came and it’s loose after a few balls have gone through the hoopIncredibly unhappy and hope customer service will actually complete this order properly for us.

Great quality and very sturdy - better filled with sand rather than water as the water goes rancid eventually and you can never get it all out. Daughter loves it. Instructions could be clearer but common sense puts it together rather than the sheet of paper!!

Ten year old daughter loves it......and whole family join in. Product made well ( hope it lasts a good number of years).Height easily adjustable so we're at 8ft at present ; but will go to regulation height. Cannot find fault with this product and the price was well below others available........and delivery was prompt!

The base is good, heavy and solid when full of sand, the post comes in 1ft sections and was missing two bolts from the box, so consequently is fairly unstable.

This is a good sturdy netball post, with a good selection of adjustable heights. It feels strong and safe. Only criticism is the instructions are so very difificult to follow, and actually it's relatively simple to put together, just the instructions make it more difficult due to the complicated lay out and labelling of parts. It took five people reading them to work it out! If the instructions were improved I would have given 5 stars (very simple problem to solve and other reviews have mentioned it, shame manufacturers don't act on the comments!).
