Excellent for the money
I bought this kit for my 4 year old boy and although it's clearly meant for older children and he needed close supervision, he still enjoyed pressing out the pieces and helping push them together. You have to make sure you identify all the right pieces and do them in the right order so probably best for 6-10 year olds I would guess. However, I was really impressed with the quality of this product for the bargain price. It all fits together well, is a different kind of activity to do with your child and also looks good on the shelf afterwards!

Great value.
Bought as a present for a 10 year-old boy who loves dinosaurs and was a success! It's very straight forward to make - depending on the age may need some supervision. It looks really cool as a decoration in the room afterwards or it can painted for even more fun!

Nice, cheap model
A flat-packed dinosaur for just a couple of pounds! Can't be bad.Nice little present (and really light & easy for posting too).Covers a fairly wide age-range too (little ones can watch Mum or Dad making it, older ones can 'help' find the right pieces etc. and still older ones can get on with it by themselves).I have used various of these for children from 3yrs up to 6yrs or so.It would probably be fine for children a bit older too, who I guess could paint it etc. if wanted - paint not included!.The pleasure is in making it, and looking at the finished product. It is definitely a model rather than a toy, and I doubt it would last long if 'played with' (certainly by smaller children). It isn't really designed for that though and I haven't tested it!I guess you could probably make it more robust by purchasing glue & sticking the pieces in place, but it probably isn't worth it (we haven't).I guess that you can dismantle & re-make the models if you wish (though some care might be needed to avoid damaging the pieces).Overall a good few minutes of entertainment for a wide range of ages at little cost and with an end result they can have on their bookshelf or whatever to admire.

A well-received gift for my young grandson. At 6 years old he needed a bit of help, but enjoyed assembling this little model.

Lobstronamous!
Bought a set of these many years ago for my (now grown-up) son and was delighted to find that they were still available. Bought for my grandson who has recently been studying dinosaurs in school. Great item, fun and educational at an affordable price - cheap enough to buy the full set! Recommended - all schools should have a set!

Simple craft for children that like to build!
I bought this as a present for my godson (aged 5) and he loved assembling it with his dad. He used wood glue to keep the pieces together more permanently and gave it a coat of paint afterwards.

Fantastic service
When ordered I was advised arrival would be between 19th and 22nd. It arrived today, the 18th. Thrilled. It looks substantial too but no other insights as wrapping it up for grandson!Thank you Cheltenham model centre.

This is a great toy- my 5 year old and I sat and made this together - im sure he couldve managed it himself but it was a lovely project for the 2 of us to spend time. I did use glue to stabilise torso- as he wanted to paint it. He painted it himself.
