Gentle and Effective – A Lifesaver for Stuffy Baby Noses!
This has been an absolute lifesaver during those tough newborn congestion days. It’s super easy to use and surprisingly gentle my baby doesn’t fuss much at all thanks to the soft silicone tips and the built-in light and music that help distract them. The suction power is adjustable, which is great depending on how stuffed up your baby is, and it really does a great job clearing out mucus. I also love that it’s USB rechargeable and comes with a handy storage case. Cleaning it is quick and simple, which is a huge plus during those hectic moments. This is one of those baby products you don’t realize you need until you’re in the thick of it—highly recommend for all new parents!

BUYER BEWARE - Only used for half a year and multiple issues
First of all, I suspect the one that I got wasn't even new and was a returned item because it came looking dirty and the packaging was messed up. Whatever, I was a new mom at the time and had no time to try to return it and get another one - obviously when you have a newborn and need to be suctioning their snot, this is pretty low priority. So the first main problem. The "head" of the nasal aspirator screws on with two tiny pieces of VERY CHEAP plastic. It turned out that after the third or four time we unscrewed the head on and off, these two very narrow and thin pieces of plastic were weakened until they basically snapped and fell off. I'm very careful with things and I can only imagine that either the plastic is truly of unfathomably flimsy quality, or the plastic was already cracked/damaged when I got it. The result of having these two pieces snapped off is that the aspirator is still somewhat usable but the head isn't actually secured well. Not exactly something you want to be worrying about with a squirming baby. The second problem is that the body of the aspirator device can't be opened and something SMELLS TERRIBLE in there. Initially I didn't understand that it was coming from the aspirator and was trying to look everywhere for the source of the smell. Then at one point my husband smelled the bottom of the aspirator (where the USB charging port is) and gagged. I looked up reviews online and realized that maybe some snot was suctioned into the main body even when 100% used correctly - which is RIDICULOUSLY BAD DESIGN that that's even possible - and the instructions was to let it run for a long time. Well, even after a long time of running it dry to air it out or whatever, it still smells like something died every time I turn it on.I paid almost $40 for this ($36.99 + tax), I expect better quality from a product and especially for it to last more than a few uses.

WORTH IT
When my kids (2 YO and 3.5 YO) lost the tube piece of my original Nose Frida in the middle of their colds, I was that mom who wondered if an upgrade to a nasal aspirator was worth it. After some research, I settled on this one because of the light and musical distraction, plus the 20% off because, let’s be real, which mom doesn’t need to save a few bucks here and there?Totally worth it. And I’ve attached a completely disgusting and gross TMI photo that I wish was there for me as proof it works. Seeing is believing (maybe?).My 3.5 YO is usually super brave but this is the one item she was scared about. I think she wasn't actually scared but the more she told me she was scared, the more she became actually scared. Long story short, I stuck the aspirator in my nose and literally felt nothing. It was loud but it did not feel like my brain was being sucked out, and after I let her practice sticking it in my nose, I held her down while she screamed and cried and sucked the gunk out of her nose. When she realized it was over and she could breathe and she felt nothing and her brain was still there - that’s when she became a believer. The next day, she started asking for it herself, turned the music and sound and suction to 3 (strongest) and sucked her own nose independently and afterwards, her passage is completely cleared and she can breathe for hours as opposed to constantly blowing her nose and getting tissue burn and still being congested. She would grab it and show how to suck her nose to all her aunts and uncles, who watched the entertainment in horrified fascination (yeah, they don’t have kids so they’re not used to the grossness that comes with kids). My son doesn’t like it but doesn’t fight it when I promise him a treat afterwards. We always used the strongest suction and the smallest/medium tip for him and medium tip for her.Washing and cleaning isn’t too bad, except there are lots of pieces, which you get used to after a while. The only problem we had was in the beginning, the aspiration leaked snot into the motor handle, which I think is supposed to stay dry. That made me more hesitant because we aren’t supposed to wash the handle, yet there was no way I was just going to let the snot sit there without cleaning it. I did rinse the handle tip where the snot touched very carefully and kept it tilted and dried. I also turned on the aspirator so it would spit the water back out. I would not recommend rinsing it but after a few rinses, it still works, just FYI. I think the snot may have escaped because I didn’t put the pieces together correctly because after the first few times, snot stayed within the washable pieces and didn’t touch the motor. All in all, I found it much easier to use than the original Nose Frida and would totally recommend it!

Does not hold a charge
Does not hold a charge. Need to recharge after not using it for 1 week. Frustrating because when u need it , you want it to be charged and ready. The suction is great however. Good power and gets the stuck obstructive nose boogers out
