Bought to use with a heat gun in which to strip a door. Well worth it as the extra long handle really does prevent you burning your hand. The Shavehook is very well made, Handle is solid wood with the rest metal. In conjunction with a Heat gun, paint comes right off, however (without burning your fingers) it does help to scrape the paint off your hook straight away. Most impressed and much easier to use than the basic scraper .

Nice and strong , blade sharp, perfect

Bought this as an add on with a black and decker heat gun which was half price. At less than a fiver well worth the cost. Good weight to it,solid built and effective. What I was not prepared for was how quickly the edges went blunt considering it was only removing soft paint. I re sharpened using a file as I was only going to be using it once but advise having a proper sharpening stone if you intend to use multiple times.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect for stripping 30+ years of paint off my bannister. Does the job well and long enough that I can use with a heat gun without burning my fingers off!

These are great for getting weeds out of the joints in our block paving. Slightly longer handle than other makes we have tried so you don't need to bend over quite as far. Sharp and strong. Last as long as other makes and slightly cheaper. This is third lot I have bought as ideal for job.

Tipical Stanley BRILLIANT

Not too impressed considering it is a well known brand. Had to get the super glue out to stick the metal ring on to the top of the handle. Anyway it works well, nice and sharp and is great for removing wallpaper

Brilliant little tool. Very strong and well made. Ideal for the job I got it for. Price even better. Highly recommend buying this.
