Seriously effective drill
Much as I prefer cordless tools, for drilling in stone, concrete etc you just need more power. I actually first used it with a 10cm hole saw in thick mdf and it barely slowed down. I don’t know how well it will last, but it all seems built for the long run. Comfortable and smooth running.

Good all around corded drill
Had this drill for just over a year now, bought it to help me with house renovation and it’s getting the job done without a single problem, on few occasions I’ve even put in attachments from my cheap SDS (the chuck is strong enough to hold them without a problem). It’s done brilliantly coring through brick and stone. Drilling any holes with it is a pleasure, no matter if it’s brick or steel. Yes, it is a bit heavier than standard corded drills, but the chuck is a bit bigger as well, which to me is an advantage. Well made solid piece of equipment! Once I’m done with the house it’ll be a nice addition to my workshop

Not a good drill
Bought first one which lasted 4 years, then I bought second one which broke gearbox the third time I used it, contacted dewalt and it was few weeks out of warranty, I explained that it was only used 3 times but they didn't want to know .We have moved over to other makes of core drills as these are not reliable

Really impreseed
After using Hilti and eibenstock for coring holes for work, I wasn’t holding out much hope that this would be any good, I was wrong, For the money it is brilliant

Good powerful drill
This is some great kit I already have drills but was finding it hard to drill in a fireplace due to being extra hard from the heat so I gave this a try and was amazed it really was easy and would recommend to anyone even tho I use makita brands

Great fore cores
A really high quality drill that I bought at the same time as a batch of core drills. Drilled my first core effortlessly. I only have it 4 stars as I went to drill some hard material today with an 8mm masonry bit and there wasn't much of a hammer action and I could have still done with my STS monster drill instead. However, I bought it to use with cores and it does this well.

Core drill
Good drill for the price, fast spin good clutch and better than my Makita purpose built core drill

Lasted 2 years
Speed selector have up just after 12 months and clutch gave out after 2 years. When clutch was 'working' it didn't always disengage and handle position meant a painful twist of the wrist .Stick to a rear handled drill if I was you.
