Probably the best sound system for the price you will find.
Hands down best system i have purchased for home theater. The Q-Symphony is amazing. You plug them up, start the setup from the Samsung app, if you have other devices it automatically configures the network, super simple and connects to the TV. It happened so quick and easy i actually thought i had done it wrong and went over the setup again. I purchased this as an open box, its was brand new as far as i could tell, its was nearly 50% of the cost new, excellent value because even at retail, for me I would have purchased it after watching other people review it. Overall, i could not be happier, but lets cover some things. The bar and bass box are heavy, there is a lot stuffed into them and you can hear the quality as you listen to them. The remote option is awesome and really easy to understand, but you wont need it, once paired with a Samsung TV in Q-Symphony mode, it turns on and off by itself with the TV. the volume on the TV remote controls the bar and the TV, oh and i use my phone to configure most things through the app. Super convenient, no wires, no fixed location, can help you space them right in AI mode, and just a ton of features. I try to put negatives in my posts otherwise i feel like am just a corporate parrot, but honestly i dont have any. The only thing i would say, is the D and C series are nearly identical, the D incorporates a few extra features, but you would probably wont miss them unless your an audiophile and stream a lot of music, so if your budget is tight but still want something excellent at a really good price the last generation C series is also a very good buy. This system has been flawless, it sounds amazing, enough loudness that I wonder when the cops will be called on us for our Saturday night movies. Its crystal clear, there is no popping, no coil whine. 10/10 would buy again, even at full retail. Which is possible because i may get one for the bedroom too. Huge fan.

Immersive Crystal Clear Sound
After setting up the Samsung HW-Q910D soundbar in my living room, I can confidently say it’s a huge upgrade over my previous system. The 9.1.2 channel configuration, complete with a wireless subwoofer and rear speakers, delivers an incredibly immersive surround sound experience that makes movies, TV shows, and even gaming feel more alive than ever before.Dolby Atmos support and Surround Sound Expansion truly make a difference—sounds come from all directions, and the adaptive sound technology automatically optimizes audio for whatever you’re watching. The powerful bass from the wireless subwoofer adds a satisfying punch to action scenes, and dialogue is always crisp and clear, even in noisy environments.Setup was straightforward, and the system integrates seamlessly with my Samsung TV using Q-Symphony, which synchronizes the soundbar with the TV speakers for an even richer audio experience. The included remote and voice assistant compatibility make it easy to adjust settings hands-free.Overall, the Samsung HW-Q910D is a fantastic value for anyone looking to bring true home theater sound into their space. Highly recommended!

Practically Perfect
Please read this review as 4.5 stars. This unit gets high marks from most professional reviewers, and rightly so. Due to advancing age and the realization that I won't be hefting 40lb receivers and 80lb speakers much longer, I decided to start downsizing - and this was the first thing I did. Glad too. It is as good as advertised with only minor criticisms. Out-of-box it is powerful loud, seemingly louder using eArc than the HDMI inputs. (I recommend a break-in period for the speakers before too critical a listen). The center channel seems a bit dominant, L/R mains a bit weak, and low bass prominent with weaker mid-bass. The claimed pass-through capability is only if the soundbar is turned on - it will not pass audio/video if it is off, so if you are planning to use the unit as a hub, just be aware that it is NOT passive pass-through. There are four sound modes but EQ is only available on "Standard"which is unfortunate as it could be positively applied otherwise. I would like to recommend that the next iteration have EQ available in all modes and each speaker individually addressable as well. Right now only Bass/Treble sliders are available for the advanced sound modes (Surround, Adaptive). One critique is that ATMOS is a bit weak, not that it matters much since ATMOS material is not always mentioned in the program descriptions of the various streaming sites when selecting a viewing choice. Fandango does a good job of identifying ATMOS coded offerings but not the other streamers. Amazon Prime Video only offers ATMOS if you pay the extra fee for no commercials, but even then the audio description is missing (I subscribed to no commercials for two days and never saw the word "ATMOS"). I did download some demo files and detected a faint ATMOS effect when playing them through the system. There are two sound adjustments one may employ that attenuate the sound, they are called "SpaceFit" and "Adaptive". I am still trying to figure out what they do, although I did notice a slight echoing effect using Adaptive. The remote is small and sparsely populated with buttons, several of which have arcane double button presses for "hidden" functions. The mobile app is much better and quite handy - highly recommended. In sum, a great sounding system that's even better after break-in. I sincerely hope for better EQ capabilities in the future.
