Great flat rack
I bought this rack to accommodate a 40 cu feet rooftop bag. The rack matches the dimensions of the rooftop bag perfectly. I was able to easily attach the rack to my existing rooftop bars with the provided hardware. The rack gave me the peace of mind that the rooftop bag was secure and the load was distributed to the existing rooftop barstool bars. I loaded the rack to maximum if not more rated capacity and it perform mighty. I now leave the rack on my Chevy Traverse, it comes in handy to load my 2 paddle boards when my son and I head out for the day. I could not find a rack that beats the cost of this one, it is a great value for the money. There is small amount of noise when it is not loaded but that is to be expected. I have not had any rust issues as mentioned by others. I highly recommend this flat rack for those looking for that extra storage space.

Good but loud.
Great rack for the price. Easy to assemble, not too heavy and stable. Fit very well on my '05 GX470.Strong enough to hold all my extra hauling for camping and offroading, awnings and extras. Not sure if I would recommended to hold a roof tent. The only negative so far is that it gets very loud at anything over 50mph. I would totally recommend to get a wind deflector. It you think you'll get over the loud sound, trust me you won't, specially on long trips, it get tiring.Other than that, great so far.

Great Quality!
This roof rack was put on my 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner, it works and definitely looks cool when it’s all put together! I recommend to anybody looking for an affordable flat rack!

Nice rack and bag combo
It’s a great deal for the price. Unfortunately it did not fit my 2025 outback which has fixed cross bar locations.

Decent for the price.
The rack is simple to assemble and mount. The quality is what you’d expect for the price point. There is splatter from the welding and the powder coating doesn’t strike me as the most durable but is passable. Comes with a tube of sealant to put on all the welds and butt connections. I’d recommend vinyl gloves and an acid brush to apply it. The rack itself is lightweight enough for one person to install and remove yet solid and stable when mounted. Lots of tie down points and adequate space for gear. I haven’t heard any noise or whistling at highway speeds. Used it for an overland trip right after receiving and mounting, was very happy with the overall performance. For the money, this rack will get the job done.

Should Have Been Easier
Good, sturdy roof rack. I normally use a roof bag, when I need extra storage for a road trip. However, I just got a new car that has a very long sunroof. So, I needed a solution to keep the bag off the roof. I'm deducting 1 star because it was a bit of a pain to put together.Mine arrived with rubber feet on the ends of the 2 baskets. These needed to be removed before I could fit the baskets together, as instructed. Two were very easy to get off. For some reason the other 2 were glued on. I have no idea why they would do this since the baskets don't fit together otherwise. I had to rip these off with pliers. One foot was glued on so much so that there was residue left on the end. This made it very difficult to fit it inside the other basket. Because of this, I needed help with inserting both ends evenly at the same time. We had to bang on the basket in order to get the glued side to fit it. This caused some of the powder coating to be chipped off. We finally got the baskets inserted together, but they could have made this a much easier process.

I regret buying this.
Pros: sturdier than expected, available in 90” length, looks greatCons: missing parts, mounting brackets are cheap and awkward, major quality control issues, I wish it was available in at least 50” width, not worth the priceI purchased this 90x47 design on sale for $170. When I received it I was missing two of the connector tubes for the middle basket rods. I called Amazon and they promptly sent out another full rack and told me to send back whatever I didn’t need.It took an additional week to receive the second parts rack and as I looked over the rack I began to regret my decision. The tubes that connect the separate pieces have a bit of play, which makes me uncomfortable with the structural integrity in the middle of the rack. Thankfully I didn’t have any issues with stripping the screws when assembling the rack, but I definitely took my time knowing other people had issues. The week passed and the parts rack gets delivered. I go through the new parts and realize this box is missing one of the mounting brackets. Thankfully I had the four that came with the original(the 90” should come with 6 mounts in my opinion) but had they sent this out to another customer they’d only have three mounts. Then I realize the mounting brackets in the new box don’t have washers like the first box did. Seemed odd.I assemble it on my roof in two halves to line it up better. I expected some modification since this is a universal rack, but these mounting brackets are bulky and awkward so it took trial and error to get them on. One of the mounting brackets stripped during adjustment so I had to take one from the new rack pile. After getting it all up and aligned I realized I’m going to have to go to the store and buy some sheet metal to make an additional locking point, like a long washer, to hold it all together in my situation. The twist on nuts are cool, but I worry that they will loosen with time so I’ll be replacing them with locking nylon nuts.Overall I wish I would have just returned this originally, or better yet, bought a flat aluminum rack with a much higher weight rating for a little more money in the first place. At this point it would be too much work to try to return both racks, especially since the original rack box was thrown out in the week it took to get the replacement. I will say that I like the look and now that it’s assembled and mounted, it feels much more sturdy than when I was putting it together. Overall I’m not happy with this purchase, but I’ll update this review if my option changes. It was so much work to put it together and get it mounted, but I may just take it off and try to sell it to salvage some of the money I spent and put it towards a better rack.
