OHHH! So much fun! I use them with my resin and jewelry crafting, and my nail artist gets a real kick out of trying the different shapes and styles of these magnets. We are consistently surprised and what each one does depending on the position the magnet is held.

These are some of the worst magnets I've ever had. Of all the ones that came in the package, I only used two. I threw away the rest because they were really useless. I bought them because I was very excited about the different designs they promised to make with the cat's eye gel paint, but it was a complete scam. Despite seeing several videos where they did work, I gave them another chance with several brands of gel, and the result was the same.

This magnet set is okay, but not quite what I was expecting. The variety of shapes is nice and it does work to create cat eye patterns, but the magnets aren’t very strong. You have to hold them very close to the nail and be super quick after applying the polish, or the effect doesn’t show up well.With some trial and error, I was able to get a few decent designs, but it takes patience and good timing. If you’re just experimenting or don’t mind a little extra effort, it’s fine for the price

Ok so I did start a refund but I tried 1 more time before sending back. So the shapes do work but do take your time to work out the best way to make it works. So some magnets are better then others and some are really weak. I tried 2 different nails polishes. Modelones magnetic works better the Sally hanson magnetic. But I have canceled me returning. I'm going to keep working with them.

The media could not be loaded. I love the product. My nails came out so cute and the magnet was so easy to use. I tried a magnetic bar previously and struggled which is why I bought this kit. Highly recommend for beginners. When using the magnets, when you hover it over the nail, keep it there for a few seconds before you start to move the magnet around so the shape can form. Also be sure that the polish you are using is actually cat eye polish and not glitter polish. I hope this helps!

I am a total novice but I have tried a few of the magnets in the set so far. Here are a couple photos for example. The first photo shows how I used the the large rectangular magnet at an angle to get the line across my nail (silver polish). Then I used Magnet #1 to get the horizontal stripes across my ring finger nail (grey/black polish). For the larger rectangular magnet, I had to leave it hovering over my nail for about 60 seconds for it to pick-up the magnetized polish. For Magnet #1, I saw the lines pop-up after just 10-15 seconds or so but left it hovering for a total of 30+ seconds to be sure I got as clear a line as possible. Learning as I go, but this set is super fun and definitely worth the money. I say give it a shot :)

The magnets are absolutely massive and because of this, my girlfriend can’t get any designs on her nails. I basically just bought a box of magnets for no reason. Not every piece is useless but 90% of the box is.Also, some of the magnets aren't what the designs say they are. They're mis-labeled.
