excellent - didnt know you could buy replacement
My son and his friend forcedly opened a window and broke these - claiming there was a foul odor being produced by a sibling. It was surprising how much cold air came in through the holes that were left. I ended up putting tape over them but it looked bad. And my spouse was very mad and I thought maybe, there is a solution that doesn't involve replacing the whole window - well heck - for $6 each - a winner! It used a flathead screwdriver to pop the old one out and popped this in -- perfection!

Easy to install and use
These simply screw into the window frame, to make a barrier to the window opening too far. If your windows didn’t come with the night-burglar latches, these will help. To raise the window all the way, you just push in the red latch as you lift the sash. One note: make sure your frames on your sashes are wide enough to install these on.

Does not lay flat against the window like other window stops.
Does not lay flat against the window like other window stops. Red/Orange part is designed to always stick out, like in the product image.The ones I have on my windows have a tab at one end, that when pressed, releases the stop so that it can prevent the window from sliding furhter. Pressing the stop flat against the window enagages the tab, keeping the stop flat against the window.

Great product replacement for one that broke at my residence. There are no instructions for replacement, fairly self explanatory swap out.
