Had to solder old connector but it worked for me
Worked on my ps4 controller. just had to cut the end and solder the original connector back on. no problem for me since I have a soldering gun. I'll update if it dies.

Gave new life to our old PS4 dual-shock controllers with ease
My husband and I used to be avid gamers for many years. When our PS4 dual-shock controllers quit working 5 years ago, we just tossed them in a storage bin and packed them away in the back of the closet, to be forgotten. When we saw this battery replacement and tool set we nearly scrolled past them, then we remembered out about dead PS4 controllers being tucked away in the back of our closet. Still having the PS4, which he haven't played since the controllers died, we were excited to stumble across these replacement batteries and toolset. The tools makes it so easy to disassemble, install the batteries, a reassemble the controllers. Oh yah! Now were back into gaming, not like we used to be but still, now we have a little bit of entertainment back into our lives.

It can not regulate itself, will heat up and melt itself
Fits, connects, works, but one of the batteries killed itself. Charged it for a few hours and it melted itself. Do not buy

Batteries worked great
Batteries work great. had my own tool so I didnt need the ones provided. Didnt really help in the end because the controller would not go back together no matter what I did.

Awesome replacement batteries
Worked like a charm and I loved the fact that it had both battery terminals. I had a older and a newer controller that needed new batteries. This worked just like a charm.
