I have the old plastic birdy for 9 months and thought I would upgrade to the bamboo version and WOW!!It is bigger than the old plastic version and so well made. I got the bamboo birdfy out the box and was so pleased. It is stunning!!But onto the main purpose for the feeder! Seeing the videos and it does not disappoint.When I got my last feeder from birdfy I did wonder if it was a bit of a novelty and I’d get bored. But nope! 9 months in and every day I sit and watch through the videos to see whose visited the garden.And with this new natural bamboo feeder my garden looks fabulous! The old feeder worked so well but didn’t merge into the tree it was in.This feeder does so well, it looks natural.It is easy to fill with lots of room so less frequent trips to fill it up.The mounting was super easy to do and the solar panel keeps it charged even in the UK winter.And the videos are a joy. Birdfy has improved their app over the last 9 months, you can have (or not) notifications for each bird that visits to your phone and then you can virtually collect them and share to the community. Their Facebook group is also really great!The bamboo birdy camera would make a great gift to anyone that loves nature. We’ve got to see birds we didn’t know we had in the garden.Spring time was also a great joy. With all the fledglings about and watching them mature.I cannot rate this bird feeder high enough.The concept of them is brilliant and birdy have out done themselves with this new bamboo design 😍

The media could not be loaded. I've only had this up for a day and a half but it's brought me so much joy already! I'm not sure about the AI but you get a free trial and can choose not to use it after that. But the notifications, videos & community are amazing! it looks so well made too. Highly recommend.

It would be a lovely product if it worked with all types of WiFi. You need to check your WiFi ghz first before buying. It only works with 2.4ghz and I have WiFi of 5 ghz so not compatible and had to return.

The media could not be loaded. This is one of the best things I’ve bought this year. Incredibly detailed footage, it’s captured goldfinches, robins, blue tits, great tits and more! Easy to install, I could spend the whole day watching it.

Looks great but camera only works intermittently and have fitted a booster WiFi. Also it’s starting to deteriorate and way too easy for the squirrel to eat the bamboo. First month great but would not recommend.

I loved this when I got it. It looked good and when the birds came to feed seeing them on the camera was great, you had to pay extra for it to identify the birds which I didn’t bother with. However I have had this product just 1 year and it is rotten (it has looked like this for at least 6 months), the wire on the solar panel is snapped and the camera no longer works. Very expensive for what it is and it doesn’t last. Good part is it does take a lot of bird feed so you don’t need to fill it up too often.**Edit** the customer service team actually reached out to me to offer a replacement camera or refund which I thought was excellent customer service as I had never contacted them. Added one additional star as the customer service exceeded my expectations.

I bought this for my wife. Then saw it 2 days later at costco for £89 which was half the price for identical item so returned the amazon one. Full marks to amazon for ease of return . The product is excellent

Good quality product and connection to wi-fi easy. Works as described BUT … attracts large birds such as pigeons, crows and magpies frightening away the small birds that we normally get in our garden. We are going to make some adaptations to the feeder to try and stop the large birds using it to feed.
