I purchased similar batteries from 2 other Amazon suppliers as a replacement of the original that stopped working. I learned a lot in the process. My "dead" battery showed 22 volts at the connection terminals which should not be "hot" unless the button on the battery is pushed. (I didn't know this at the time) The 1st battery I obtained from another supplier, had marks that looked like it had been used and I checked the voltage and it also showed 22 volts like my "dead " battery it was to replace. Not knowing how the battery worked I plugged it in - nothing happened. I now was learning that no voltage should show unless the button on the battery is pushed, then and only then should it show 22volts. Returning the battery to Amazon was straight forward as is usually the case. I ordered another similar battery from another supplier and this time checked that the voltage would only appear with button pressed. The only problem with this 2nd battery was it would last only about 30 seconds and require a recharge. (my charger voltage was ok). Again returned the bad battery and after a little more study, ordered this battery which at 2 weeks has functioned flawlessly like the original Dyson battery. As a side benefit this battery comes with a charger- nice to have but my original works just fine. This battery in my experience is highly recommended. Will give a follow-up if anything changes.

Finally a battery for my Dyson that isn't poop!! I bought another battery a couple years ago that looks basically identical, but with substandard output, never worked right, always Low only. I knew it wasn't the Dyson, because it has sensors to monitor the battery current draw, and when you put in a low output battery, it will act the same as the original problem, for the most part. Dyson is totally out their OEM batteries, so, being tired of my wife's profane remarks about this vacuum's performance, so, I took a chance on another no-name battery. This time JACKPOT! My vacuum works like it did when it was new!!

I purchased this battery for some Metabo HPT tools. In some of them it works fine, however, my wireless framing nailer that is Metabo HPT the battery makes a connection but will not lock into the tool. Not very useful when you fire a nail and your battery shoots off. It kind of sucks because that is the tool that I use the most batteries through.

3rd battery I have replaced on my 5 year old dyson. Last one lasted 6 months this one lasted 2 weeks. I tried to return and was told to late. Maybe it's the vacum but it runs for a few seconds and then the battery dies. Waste of money and tired of replacing the battery so bought a different vacum.-6 months later after some back and forth I was sent a new battery. I hooked it up to my vacum and let it charge and still not holding a charge. This makes me think it's the vacum which is 5 years old. Would have been nice for it to work as I loved my dyson but not the updated price on it. New vacum fitting my current needs.
