I am 71, and I don’t like the way I look when I try to grow out my hair naturally. It makes me look washed out and my complexion doesn’t seem to match the gray.Coloring my hair is extremely damaging to it, and consequently, the products I use have to be of good quality. Nexus is known for its high quality, and this particular product makes my hair feel soft, silky and shiny. I’ve used other products that claim to help damaged hair but have not noticed any improvement, so I’m delighted with the shampoo and conditioner here, and I have an intensive bonding solution on the way! Nexus = quality and affordability!

I have used Nexxus products for years! This shampoo & conditioner smells so good! It has made my hair shiny. I have less breakage. It really does bond my hair strands! Just like the product says! I highly recommend Nexxus hair products! I have used Nexxus; Dimatress, Humectress, Keraphix & now I am using this shampoo & conditioner. These products are reasonably priced & they really work! I was so sad. I thought I was going to have to cut my hair off due to illness & medications. Thanks to Nexxus once again, I am able to keep my long hair.

Good product

I couldn’t find one thing to like about this shampoo and conditioner. It was drying and left my thin/fine hair lifeless, dry and fly-away. Fragrance preferences are subject to individual taste. For me, I found it smelly. However, what I disliked even more, were the containers. The bottles are very rigid, making it difficult to squeeze the shampoo and conditioner out in an appropriate quantity. I actually ended up throwing them out after using only 4 times. I can’t recommend buying this item. Yuck!

Smells great but doesn’t work the best on curly hair. Probably wasn’t the best for me but would work on someone else

I’ve tried a couple of different protein hair products and this is the only one that left my hair soft and silky. I did a couple of bleach washes to lift dark brown dye and wanted to be sure to minimize damage and fill in porosity. I think this shampoo and conditioner did that. I dropped a couple of strands of hair into a glass of water and they never sank! Plus no silicones. The spray on product does have silicones, so I didn’t buy it, but very happily with shampoo and conditioner.Updating my previous review. It turns out that the conditioner has silicone after all. One is water soluble, but the other isn’t. For those of us looking for silicone-free, only the shampoo is silicone free.
