I used this item to make a heater box foam/neoprene gasket for a 1967 Cadillac DeVille.

Prevented sound vibrations as I expected

The material is a little more fragile than I anticipated, but it has worked well for me thus far.

Showed up on time - good stuff

Neoprene is a soft, stretchy foamed rubber with an unmistakable texture and this is not it (think wetsuit or koozy, while this is like standard craft foam, not as soft or stretchy).This (what I assume is) EVA foam should still work for my particular needs so I'll keep it, but if I buy material X then, well I expect to receive material X, and I shouldn't have to second-guess my sanity after receiving a completely different material... So -1 star for accuracy, and another -1 because each of the rolled sheets I received was held together by two pieces of incredibly sticky tape that either leaves a lot of goopy residue or rips out chunks of foam.

Perfect for making foam gaskets

My Honda cupholders had failed after nearly 10 years but Honda does not sell just a replacement foam piece to swap out. With this I was able to make my own and I think it’s even sturdier than what Honda uses.

I didn’t open the package for almost 3 months after I bought this. & it has a strong chemical smell. So I unrolled it & laid it out in the garage. I’ll report back in a few days if it goes away or not.UPDATE>>> After letting it sit in the garage for a few weeks it smells fine. Very firm, I've been using part of it to lay on under my truck while I work on it, keeps the cold away & I cant feel the floor at all. They should sell these as workout/yoga mats.
