Easy to install
Needed to replace battery in launch day switch as it wasnt holding a charge. This kit is very good and installation took less than 30mins. The plastic tools use to pry the battery out were to weak and started to deform so I would recommend using something like an old bank cary to get underneath and detach the battery it worked much better.

Still not charging.
Well the unit is still not charging, so either the battery is naff or it is the charging port that needs replacing.

Kit came with the wrong screwdriver
This battery kit is supposed to include a Y00 Tri Wing screwdriver. It includes a screwdriver with the right label on the side (Y 1.5mm), but it will not fit into the top of the y screws! It looks like the top of the Y 1.5mm has been snapped off or not manufactured properly.I cannot remove the back cover of my Switch, so this replacement kit is useless to me until I can acquire a Y00 screwdriver.I cannot speak to the battery's quality since I cannot install it.Waste of time and delivery miles!

Cheap And Dangerous
I thought this was one of the better ones as it was more expensive than the others. When I started i always make sure the wires in the connectors are always solid, straight away the two red wires started to come out, wasted my time on this battery.Been returned

Make sure your model is compatible
I ordered this Juboty 4310Mah HAC-003 Battery for our older switch console. We weren't getting much play time off the original battery any more, especially in handheld mode.I've had JUBOTY brand batteries before for smartphones and I have found them to be reliable. The kit provided is pretty basic, but contains everything you need to replace the battery. If I could give one piece of advice it would be to watch a several (!) online videos on how to do this beforehand, plan carefully, set up your work space, and go slowly. It is helpful to have a spot ( I use a pill box) where you can line up any small parts you need to remove... in order.I found the main switch battery to be be one of the trickiest replacements I've done - I already did the batteries in the joy cons separately. You just have to go slowly with lots and lots of care - do not yank it, do not prise it out with the screwdriver!Next most important thing is to make sure before purchase that this is the correct switch battery for you. It is for the earlier switch model, with the HAC-001 serial number. It is not the Oped model, and it is not for the switch lite. You will find the serial number on the rear on the console if you have a standard switch model - it should say HAC-001 on the back.If you have an OLED it should say HEG-001 under the stand on.the rear - this needs a different battery type.Go easy.Worth doing however if you have s switch that is on its last legs and out of warranty (changing the battery will otherwise void the warranty).Five stars and a big cup of tea afterwards as a well earned reward.

Moderately difficult install but breathes new life into an older console
Recommend following the guides on iFixit, they rate it a moderate difficulty 45 mins to 2 hours and would be inclined to agree. Getting the old battery out is difficult due to the adhesive and it may be handy to have a hairdryer nearby to try and soften it.Ultimately if you can change an older iPhone battery I think you'll be OK having a go at this. Breathed a bit of life into an aging Switch - I still regret not getting the official uprated battery for my Wii U gamepad while the official ones were still available, and obviously this is a 3rd party repair tool for the Switch in comparison.I'm now getting an extra hour or so on my V1 Switch (depending on game) so happy enough with the replacement. There are some outrageous maH claims on other 3rd party batteries that are physically impossible given size-wise it's like for like, so don't spend more than you need to.Pic taken prior to starting install so you can see what you get.You also ought to grab some thermal paste to replace the stock stuff while you have your Switch in pieces.

Seems to be almost if not the same as the Switch OLED battery.
The media could not be loaded. It's the same size as the original battery 4,310mah, and seems to last as long, can't really tell the difference properly yet, I'd need to be using this for a few months of charging and discharging, to be able to tell better how long the battery longevity is. So far it seems to be the same as the original, and it comes with all the tools to open it up, just some screws and flip up the old battery, replace all parts with new parts, comes with double sided tape pad to replace as well. I found a guide on youtube, there are so many replace battery on Nintendo switch guides. I would post a link to the one I used, but I'm not allowed. It did take me 30-40 minutes but I'm really careful and slow when it comes to opening electronic devices.I used anti-static gloves just incase, and a magnetic pad to keep screws together, it's as easy as just unscrewing a few screws and unplugging the small thin power cord from the original abttery, which you have to be careful with, don't just yank on it, if you can lift it carefully, and replace it with the new one, as shown in the guide. It works on either Nintendo Switch or Switch OLED. I may update this review should anything go wrong.
