Definitely recommend getting a two set rather than a single so you can get the desired size without having to buy twice. I had to widen the holes to replace the tuner heads on my Yamaha with gotohs which were a lot bigger.

These tapered reamers arrived in a simple zip lock pouch. Inside, the two reamers are individually wrapped in sealed plastic bags with a coating of machine oil to protect them from rusting in storage.One reamer’s size is 3mm – 13mm and the other is 5mm – 16mm.They’re not finely honed precision tools but at this price I didn’t expect them to be.I do a lot of DIY on the house and our vehicles and often find myself confronted with a hole that needs to be a bit larger. If it’s not a precision job I usually use a round file on metal and have even used the blade of a pair of scissors to expand a hole in wood or plastic!These can be used by hand with the supplied ‘T’ bars but they also have a ¼” hex shank that can be inserted into a power screwdriver.The hex shank is my only criticism. When using them by hand with the ‘T’ bar the hex shank digs into the palm of your hand. I’ve slipped a solid rubber ball (with a hole drilled into it) onto each one and this makes them much more comfortable but it would have been better if the hex shank was removable.These are handy tools to have in the garage or workshop and at only £6.99 for the pair they’re reasonably priced but because of the fixed hex shank I’m removing a star.

Also without knowing how hard the reamers are, they may not be suited to all steels.
