Spoke with support to make sure I ordered the correct model. The scanner was delivered quickly and was well wrapped. Was able to scan my first object, export to STL file, and then import into my 3D printing software. Was able to scale what I scanned and print came out wonderful. This appears to be a great tool for my art. Now I do not have to design found objects in CAD from scratch.

This was my first time using a 3D scanner, and I was impressed with how user-friendly the Revopoint software is. The setup was straightforward, and I was able to start scanning within minutes—even as a beginner.For most objects, the scanner works quite well and produces solid, detailed scans. However, I ran into issues when trying to scan black or dark-colored objects, which is unfortunately what I needed it for the most. I understand that black surfaces are notoriously difficult for most scanners to capture, but I was hoping this one would handle them a bit better.If you’re scanning lighter-colored or textured objects, this scanner is a great option—especially for the price and ease of use. Just be aware that black items will be a challenge and may require additional prep (like scanning spray) or different lighting conditions.

After using the Revopoint POP 3 Plus 3D Scanner, I must say my experience has been exceptional. I have used POP 2 before so I see the difference. This POP 3 Plus scanner excels not only in capturing medium-sized objects but also in terms of user-friendliness and file compatibility. With scanning speeds reaching up to 18 frames per second, which really fast for my scanning and the integration of a 9-axis IMU for stabilization, this device ensures a smooth and efficient scanning process.I tried to capture models like action figures and even fruits. I found that POP3 Plus can capture medium-sized objects with such detail and ease has truly elevated my projects. Whether it's the fine details of a miniature character, fruits or the shape of spare parts. The newly introduced Global marker tracking mode has added a whole new level of precision to my scans, making the entire process smoother and more accurate. For the money I spent no thanks. No instructions at all on how to use. Had no clue what app to use very Unsatisfied with this product. Company reached out saying they would help resolve problem. They completely wasted my time went to get a refund. My return window closed they knew exactly what they where doing. As soon as I couldn't return it they where done talking to me as well. COMPLETELY SHADY DO NOT BUY

Great little scanner for the money. Good for hobbyists. Compared to some of the professional equipment and software I've used, this is pretty good. The scanner is a good build quality and functionally, it's as good as you're going to get at this price point. The software is a little janky in spots, but does the job well once you figure out the in's and out's of it. Would gladly buy again.

This 3D scanner is a solid starting point for anyone new to scanning. The software is intuitive and does a good job guiding you through the basic steps, which made getting started much easier than I expected.For quick scans, it’s reliable and works well—especially if you plan to refine the model further in your 3D modeling software. That said, more detailed scans still come with a bit of a learning curve.Overall, a beginner-friendly tool that provides a good balance between ease of use and flexibility.

This is my first scanner, purchased after watching a lot of reviews. I'm impressed. I expected a longer learning curve, but I'm getting some accurate scans right away. I purchased this scanner for creating for and measurement sketches to design some items in CAD as well as scan some hand carved items to reproduce on a 3d printer and share with family. I highly recommend. Customer service is prompt, friendly and very helpful.

The Revopoint comes as a very complete kit, and I love the included case that neatly holds all the components. However, this scanner isn’t magic—careful technique is required to achieve good scans. For items with details larger than 1-2mm and up to the size of a helmet, it does a great job.I probably should have bought the Revepoint Mini 2, since I'm often trying to capture details down to .1mm. Apparently that model is nade for smaller objects. But for what the POP3+ is designed to handle, it’s a solid and reliable scanner.
