FEEL the sound
Love this thing. Brought my system to life. Sitting in a basement room it will ROCK the whole house. Adjustable volume is fantastic, crank it up when you wanna ROCK, turn it down when you don't wanna disturb anyone. My brother said, I don't get the whole sub woofer thing, so I turned the volume up and down, he said I don't hear it, and I said its not about hearin' it its about FEELIN" it Man. If you have a receiver that needs a sub woofer this is the one u want.

Good boom for the price.
Paired with a Nad C700 integrated amp and reference speakers. I could not be happier. Solid clean bass. Set up in a 15x20 room with large windows. It sounds great. Solid build.

Great match to Elac Debut 2.0 6.2 bookshelf speakers
Decided my Debut 2.0 6.2 bookshelf speakers needed some extra thump. This is a perfect match and fills out the low end nicely without being overwhelming. It's nice to have accurate reproduction.

Excellent sound in a tight package
This unit was my first dive into adding a sub to my slowly growing sound system. I've got a decent sized, but oddly shaped, living room that now feels like anything you'd hear in a movie theater. After a little patience in finding the best location for the unit, I've got rich full bass anywhere people are sitting. This is an excellent unit for those putting together a starter system. I paired it with the ELAC Uni-fi UB5 Bookshelf Speakers, and I can't ask for a nicer sound.

Sub-par sub from the GRANDMASTER
Andrew Jones, the GRANDMASTER of speakers has delivered some great products. All the speakers in my 7.1 set up are from ELAC. Really thankful to a guy like Andrew Jones who has designed speakers priced at 100k to put in his experience and magic into the ELAC product line. This subwoofer though falls short of the high expectations I had.. I eventually went with the klipsch 100SW which is so much more crisp and hits the low end better.THIS sub sounds muffled and sounds like a lot of wind being blown at high speed into you floor. Kind of like a quick burst from a high speed vacuum. It still does the job, thats why I gave it 3 stars but there are better subs like Klipsch or BIC america for the same amount. Also go with the front firing subs, this one is down-firing, not as clean an experience if you ask me.Also you dont have to timbre-match your speakers with your sub, meaning they can be from any make or model...Andrew in his own words says the ideal sub should have a passive radiator (this one does not)..So there you have it....

Does what it says on the tin.
This is December of 2023, so I've had this sub paired up with my pair of D2.0 B6.2 for a year and a half. No complaints.I'm not a bass head, so I didn't want a sub that screamed, "Hey everybody, look at this sub!"I just wanted a little more low end depth for recordings that use it. I have it dialed in so that when it's on, you can't tell it's there, but when you turn it off, you realize it's missing. (if that makes any sense).
