Time for anything
A great little 60 minute timer with a colourful display and a loud alarm. It is well made and easy too set, just twist the dial to display the required timer setting. It requires 2 AAA batteries which, unusually, are included in the box making the whole thing usable right out of the box.A great little timer, good value and useful.

Very Useful
This robust little timer is a great design to help you see at a glance how much time is left on a project or task. When you turn the knob on the top it alters the red disc that appears in the centre. As time elapses the red disc starts to disappear and shows how much time you have left. The display is very clear and bold so ideal for elderly people of children. In fact, it’s an ideal tool to teach children about time and they can operate it themselves. It is battery operated so no need to recharge and it saves power by switching off after a period of inactivity. You can choose to turn the alarm off when the time is up or give yourself a few more minutes. It is loud enough to be heard a few rooms away, although we do live in a bungalow. Handy and decent value for money.

It remembers the time from last time
The media could not be loaded. I had a previous one of these that I used for pomodoros (fixed length periods of intense work separated by brief breaks) but it always reset itself to zero after each countdown so you had to keep setting it back to the 15 or 25 minute period you needed for the next 'sprint'. This timer remembers, so once it has hit zero and notified you, you can start another session of the same length without fuss. The display counts down nicely, although the radial bars are always the reddy-orange colour. I am not sure what the listing means by the green/yellow/red mode – if I choose the "lightbulb" mode it merely flashes its little red LED in the top left when it has five seconds left, no matter what duration the timer is set to count down from initially. In audible mode the beep is quite shrill and so not suitable for use in an office or shared space. The mute mode is good because the entire display flashes on and off when zero is reached. One thing I would improve about this is that there is no fold-out stand like my other timer has. This means that the angle it sits at on your desk is fixed, and the LCD display can be hard to read from some angles. It would be helpful if I could tip it back further with a built-in stand. It does not appear to have magnets on the back either to hold on to an oven or fridge. In many of the photos in the other reviews a different timer model seems to be shown. The timer I received has no time display, and only displays the countdown time remaining. This is a shame, because displaying the actual time alongside the time you have left on the timer would be useful. The timer itself is extremely easy to set, but it can count down from 0-60 minutes only. It is also very easy to start and stop. Simply rotate the dial and the time increases or decreases in one-minute intervals. The middle button on the top starts and stops the countdown, and also stops the alarm. The top left button changes the alarm mode: beep, silent or “lightbulb”, and the top right button resets the timer to zero.It has auto-power-off if you leave it, to save batteries, and the batteries were included (2 x AAA).Overall, this is a handy little timer, but it would be even better if it showed the actual time, had a less-shrill (or adjustable) beep, and had a flip-out stand to adjust the angle it sits at on a desk.

Good visual time, visible from across the room!
The timer works well and as easy as expected, loud enough beeper that you can hear in another room. The visual aid is a lot better than just watching a digital display counting down, and is easier to see the remaining time from some distance. As I had some magnetic stickers, I stuck a few on the back as it is quite a light unit, and have it placed out of the way on the fridge, so it is readily accessible and not taking space on the worktop. Overall, it's a decent timer for the money... I like it!

Brilliantly Designed
Really easy to use timer. I use this in the kitchen for baking and I have peace of mind with the accuracy over the manual spring timers. The display isn't as bright as what the pictures suggest. There's no backlighting at all so the orange for example isn't as vibrant but it's not a big deal to me.

Great!
i've been through a few digital timers lately, trying to get the perfect one, this comes pretty close. Simple to set the time, go through options etc, its just great, im impressed. The only thing that lets it down is its not rechargable, that would have given it an extra star!

A great timer that works well as a productivity tool for students. It has a nice bright visual display, and easy to use control buttons. Would definitely recommend for students of any age, or anyone looking for a simple way to encourage productivity bursts.
