These test strips are nice to have on hand for reference if worried about protein or albumin in your urine. They are easy to use just having to urinate on them and then waiting a minute. The colors are fairly easy to match but I have noticed that sometimes the pads have slight variations in color across so its hard to get an accurate match up to read the results. I like the double test pads per strip to have a little better average when doing a test. They come in a airtight plastic bottle and in sealed pouches of 25 strips to keep them fresh and accurate. The bottle lists that is good for 2 years unopened and 3 months if opened.

I wanted to try a more convenient, quick and less expensive way to monitor my kidney health,I know that healthy kidneys filter out protein and if protein is ever leaking out into my urine, this may mean that I would want to talk to my doctor. So, I looked specifically for a preventative screening tool for Microalbuminuria (Early Detection) and Proteinuria (Kidney Management). I ordered a 50 strip box of Protein and Microalbumin Urine Test Strips for Urinalysis from the life-2-O Store. There are two foil wrapped packets of 25 test strips in each bottle gives me more time to use this product before expiring. Unopened, the box kit will last 2 years, but once you open a 25 count packet, you should use them within 90 days. The 90 day count down starts after a packet is open. For best results, test both morning, and at night. I was able to perform a home test with results in 60 seconds. The color chart is printed on the bottle. The two color pads measure protein and microalbumin (which is the smallest size protein). Included in the box is a detailed leaflet explaining how to do the test. I cannot locate the FREE E-BOOK – Complete guide with easy to understand effects of protein and microalbumin in urine. But the video, linked to the website is helpful. TheProtein and Microalbumin Urine Test Strips by life-2-O performed as expected and I rate them as a 5 star product or convenience and usefulness.

While the microalbumin gave a solid color the protein squares were different colors in the middle and the edge, making it impossible to read.. Would not buy again.

I got these to ease my anxiety between testing with the doctors but found that these increased my anxiety instead. When using these it was very hard to read the results because I don't know if I am supposed to consider the inside color or the color in the edges and while close they are different and mean different things. I had to stop using these and go back to waiting for the doctors testing because I couldn't trust the results or interpret them. I do not recommend these.

These urine test strips are nice to have on hand just in case. They are simple to use. The results can be easily and quickly read. It is good for just peace of mind or keep an eye on certain health concerns. The strips are kinda flimsy, but that doesn’t bother me too much.

There is an inner safety seal to keep the product safe plus an outer cellophane wrap. The strips are easy to use: just dip the stick in the urine for 2 seconds, the hold the strip horizontal so excess urine can drip of the strip is vital to getting most accurate results; then read the results in 60 seconds. You must keep the strips away from sunlight and heat to which they clearly instruct. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. I wanted these strips to keep an eye on my urine after I have surgery and found them to be accurate as I compared them with my doctor’s office visit results. The strips are wrapped 25 to a foil packet to help keep them fresher for better accuracy. If you’ve ever had an abnormal urinalysis at the doctor’s office that shows protein in your urine, you may want to regularly test at home.This has happened to me. I have decreased function in my kidneys plus I tend to get dehydrated from not drinking enough water. My lab tests have shown some kidney issues. I like that I can test at home and not have to wait for a doctor’s visit.I also like that these tests test not only for protein in the urine but also for micro albumin. Lots of home tests test for protein only.I also like that each test strip has a double test for both protein and micro albumin. A double check on each tests ensures that the test is accurate.This bottle contains 50 test strips. I do wish they came with a small cup for gathering urine. It would make testing easier than holding the strip in a stream and hoping it got completely covered for no more than 2 seconds.

The life20 Double Check Protein and Microalbumin urine strips are exactly as described and well made. From the air tight bottle, two separate foil packets with 25 strips each (to keep them fresher longer) and a good instruction pamphlet.These strips do a 'double' test on each strip so if one test pad was reading an error shade, there is another on the same strip for quality control. If you've used other strips for anything from this to testing swimming pool water, then you know how to use and read this style color pad analysis. I'm very happy with these strips as they are quick and easy - and help me keep a watch on my health here at home instead of waiting between check ups, and if I have any concerns with the reading I can call and set up an appointment to have it looked into further.They are good for 2 years while tightly sealed, and 90 days once the foil wrappers are opened. Best Used dates are also stamped on the product.
