Came just as described
My fob covers broke apart over time. This came in and was easy to replace. The price wasn't bad for getting two. It fit perfectly and functions great. I did have to get a new battery but my keys are good as new.

Different size key/hinge assembly.
Close but no cigar. Switching the circuit card from the old broke fob was easy. The problem is the key and hinge. In order to prevent having to pay a locksmith or dealership to cut a new key you have to either swap the old key and hinge assembly with the new or punch the pin out of the old key/hinge and swap the old key onto the new hinge. The hinge is a slightly different size so the old key/hinge won't swap. The slot in the hinge is also a different size so the old key won't fit in the new hinge either. I'm returning it. Nice try though.

been using this key fob for a little over a month now and I have no complaints. Great replacement for a wore out factory key fob.

Not a drop-in swap
Circuit board swapped over seamlessly, but the release button for the flip key didn't match up to my stock Chevy key. I had to get the included blank key cut which costs $$.

Just replace the guts of the key. Worked perfect!
GM wanted almost $200 to new keys and program them, I just replaced the guts in like 10 minutes.

Hang onto the original longer spring!
This product works. I put put my old cut key in the new fob instead of getting a new one cut.TIP: When I first put it back together, the old key would not flip out on it own when pushing the button. I have read several people have this problem. I took it back apart and replaced the new spring with the old spring from the original fob, rotated the spring 1-2 times counter clockwise, put it back together and it worked on its own. The button doesn't stick out as far but when you push it, it works on its own. The new spring is shorter than the original one. I have a 2014 cruze w/o remote start. My daughter has a 2013 with remote start and she had the same issue and it works using the old longer spring.
